You need to be mentored on how to look for opportunities in rendering a service or providing goods or both. Then you select which is your passion or which area you are interested in. Set out your goals and get to know what it will take in terms of finance, time and skills/knowledge to reach where you want to be. Then set to work. You need to be mentored and you need to focus. What are you planning to do now? What do you do with your time? What about in NYSC? What do you plan to do with your time during service?

My personal opinion is it applies to the General Category. However, note that DPR may decide that it is Major. At times they use their discretion.

Before you register please try and ensure that your target market of choice (oil companies or wherever) need timber of various types for various purposes. I KNOW THEY DO, ESPECIALLY IN DRILLING FIELDS etc. Long story short, ensure you have a market. Entrepreneurship is THE CREATIVE PROCESS OF IDENTIFYING MARKET OPPORTUNITIES AND UNMET NEEDS, AND THEN BUILDING SOLUTIONS THAT MEET THESE NEEDS AND BRING VALUE TO CUSTOMERS.

Last year 2017, I made close to a million on Fiverr (writing niche) until everything chickened out (project and final year stress made me stop). After graduation, my account couldn't stand on it feet anymore.
(After months of trying to revive d account, I figure out you need a professional skill to survive on d platform and writing alone won't do)
Now, I am broke AF. Back to d drawing board and trying to learn a new skill. But it's being very challenging due to NYSC service.

BTW, i'll be greatful if anyone here can mentor/guide me on any professional skills as a freelance

same here, i was and am still a self taught computer engineer with practical knowledge of networking, never had a million and the highest i have had in my account at once was 350k half of which was clients payments with profits untouched.
Sponsored my way through school, and at the beginning of the recession, my market dried up totally, went weeks without jobs finally decided to be an intern at a financial institution but i regret every moment of it, i wasnt born for Bank jobs, i wont mind been, infact i am actually pleading with anybody to tutor me on any new skill profitable especially as regards crypto or anything.
I am trying my hand at bitcoin mining but sincerely am already losing hope cos of the time frame and the fact that ascii miners are avaliable for the big boys

I laugh sometimes and I feel like crying sometimes when I see the get rich mentality of young Nigerians. They can actually make their first million simply by farming. Mix legumes with cereals if you don't have enough money for fertilizer, cos that's the most expensive thing. We have land you can rent in abundance.

Or buy grains shortly after Harvest and drying to store until they pick in price in 3 to 6 months.

Money can be made from consistent patterns and cycles. Farming/Raining season is the natural cycle set by God.
