Please I need an urgent reply. I intend to do MSC please can 5.5 in IELTS writing fly with Australian immigration. but I have over 6.0 in all the other bands. I will be looking forward to swift response Thanks |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by shupy: 10:30am On Nov 17, 2018 |
fabregasss: Check school and programme requirement. That's what matter |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by fabregasss: 11:38am On Nov 17, 2018 |
@shupy it's stated in the Australian border website that the minimum requirement is 5.5 in IELTS. ....but it wasn't stated whether it's for undergraduate or Master. Another issue is I have a valid IELTS result with all bands over 6.0 but due to expire January 15th 2019...... I dunno whether it would fly if I lodge my visa application this year. looking forward to more information from able people here bik. |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by shupy: 1:01pm On Nov 17, 2018 |
@Fabregasss Even if you've met the requirements of the Australian border, the course might require a certain score on all test. I would advice you to sit for it again. |

@shupy I have a valid IELTS result with all bands over 6.0 but due to expire January 15th 2019...... I dunno whether it would be acceptable if I lodge my visa application this year.? |

If you've gotten confirmation of enrollment from the school. I would advice you go ahead. |

@justwise and Admins. I have just discovered that my posts to assist prospective students pay bills were deleted by God knows who. I should be informed if any posts violates the forum's regulations and should be adviced to take it down myself if it does. I find it very funny because this is suppose to be a DIY and helpful forum. Posts to genuinely and personally help students pay their bills at a lesser exchange rate are deleted, but posts which advertise and recommends individual website with higher rate cost are left alone. The fact that the sponsors and promoters of a payment gateway website have infiltrated this forum does not mean we forget the exact basis for which the forum was created. Live and let Live. |

johnHadey: You may have good intentions or not and there is no way to verify that in a faceless forum like this, nobody should trust you or anybody else here with their school fees, so to avoid stories that touches the heart any post offering such service will be removed as soon as i see it. |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by johnHadey: 9:46am On Nov 18, 2018 |
justwise: I would not had made a post if i had been notified or these your concerns had been stated before or after deleting my posts. It will be cowardice to keep quite after i had noticed. Yes, my intentions are genuine and i was taking the risk of making and confirming payments first over here, just like i had done for 2 poeple already through this forum and both kept to agreements. I tend to believe no student would want to risk their application process by not keeping to their own part of bargain, as it is easier for me to report and reclaim any transaction with proof of payments over here. I have been in the shoes before and i know what 1naira difference to $1 can mean to someone who is using his entire family life savings to travel out. My offer was exactly what i would get by using an agent to send money to Nigeria, hence i wasnt gaining or loosing anything, but in turn a total stranger can save some money and get faster payment confirmation. I hereby retract those posts even though deleted, and i caese to pay bills for anyone from this forum henceforth. It is a faceless forum with real people. A little trust in humanity will make the world a better place. 6 Likes |

johnHadey: Yes but not when you find Nigeria and money in one sentence, so lets play err on the side of caution on this. 2 Likes |

amarachigeorge: Use http://cricos.education.gov.au/Course/CourseSearch.aspx Search for your course and institution and indicative fee for your program #5m is more than sufficient for your initial payment for first semester and health insurance cover for total study period. |

jiyde: I'm a serving corper and I intend to travel to Australia after NYSC for my Msc and if possible on a permanent basis but I can only achieve this via Scholarship. Can you direct me on where to start the process? |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by jiyde: 7:03pm On Nov 19, 2018 |
From what i have learnt from this forum so far, the best way is to try and google *Schools in australia offering your preferred course* follow the thred to their website, from there, you can see available scholarship options and the criteria... then you can choose that which is best for you... Nobody can give you geniune scholarship information as these things are not fixed.. they change with time, so research on your own then u can further ask questions about which of the schools you have decided is best... Goodluck bro... LegitBoyy: |
