komekn:The League themselves rated this young man pls stop this?? When last did the Epl even rate a young Nigerian in the Epl playing from scratch? Even Uzoho wasn't rated, yet this Samuel was, alongside a few others that I think you need to see their stats before castigating Samuel. Pls these parameters you're bringing are irrelevant to this study we are looking at. Withdraw them!!! 8 Likes |

So you expected Chukwueze to be the man of the match or be very magical in his first professional match in top flight football against Rangers of Scotland. komekn: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Utonwanne: I haven't made any deductions however those who are Superdelusuional can't see that. To reiterate I said in the Glasgow Rangers game he simply was not impressive. I didn't say he was not any good. I then asked the legitimate fair question following, other deductions made by other contributors what makes him a HUGE SUPER TALENT❓ in Europe. To date nobody has answered the question. But the tag Hater, has been implied. 1 Like |

Your biasness and hate for Indigenous Nigerian footballers is getting out of hand, how I wish there is no switching of nationality in international football so you won't be bombing us with your praises of British footballers of Nigerian heritage here so we can use the players that were born and bred in Nigeria. komekn: 1 Like |

If you wanna pick on Samuel, pls let's your parameter of justification be applied to these other 9young men that had better chances than him but didn't show it. @Komekn.

komekn: What exactly are you after? I said he was a HUGE TALENT. I have watched him play twice this season and I was impressed with what i saw. I was illustrating further to show that i was not on my own in arriving at that conclusion as even louder voices in football have made similar observations. Now what more do you want? Please respond, i am waiting and in the mood today. Tread carefully. |

cc12: Go back watch the Glasgow game and then comment. You want an argument when thier is nothing to argue about. I watched the game from beginning to end live. You really should not use sarcastic assumption to convey your arguments. I gave an opinion strictly on that match no other match. So should I then say he played like Mbappe and Nyemar to satisfy the need for over hyping a player that so many people ascribe to here. Not too long ago we had the same heated discussion about Sadiq Umar. I gave my opinion based on the few games l had watched him play. However, with regards to Chukwueze l haven't proffered any opinion just yet, way too early at this time. What I have done is to question the basis for all these accolades, HUGE TALENT, etc. Without any prejudice. But once again the emotive and unbalanced negative sentiment as well as vitriolic rhetoric directed my way tells us how delusional some people are here. All because l asked a question ❓ it's great COMEDY LOL. |

komekn:You mean the match Vs Rangers that he was brought on in the 79th minute against a Gerrard side that was looking for a winner and he had to switch to defensive mode? is that the match you're using to judge this guy that has 4goals and an assist this season? Pls clarify cos I'm beginning to hate this stance you're bent on. You can't tag me a hater when I have proof, and if you want to subject Samuel to such standards, pls ensure the standard is used for his co young players that were rated alongside him. Pls. 2 Likes |

wayodude: I think what we have is a dramatic difference of approach with regards to how you conclude on what you call Outstanding Talent and what I call it. I have seen too many teenage players show promise, l have seen players bought for a £1 million pounds played some first team games. Within 3/4 years they are playing non league. I do not put those accolades on a player lightly. It has to be proven established not just potential. Over time and on the field of play consistent and continous. |

komekn:Ohhhh, just answer my question. I asked a question and I need answers from you!! This is not about depth or width or height. Godwin Enakhena himself has been low on sme analysis, doesn't mean that makes him a bad analyst pls. Give me answers. Why is samuel's debut the very one you use to rate him? why? Now the LA liga themselves rated this guy high, are you agreeing with them or you're disagreeing? If you're seeing something I'm not seeing, that's exactly what I want know pls. komekn: Read my first comment again and tell me what words I used in describing him. If i remember correctly my words were 'remarkable prospect', no? Also are you insinuating that a player be described as 'proven established' and at the same time be described as 'potential'? Is it not one or the other? You seem confused. Please explain again. I too have seen many players too sign for millions of pounds and drop to the lower leagues in a few years. And i reckon i have been to more games in all the leagues than many many people perhaps including yourself so I can chip in with my judgement on any young player after a couple of games and wont be far off the mark. 1 Like |

komekn:Your response to Pavarotti's post started all this. He wasn't overhyped, all through this argument, we referred to him as a potential hottest rave, next Robben, but we didn't hail him as Messi, Ronaldo or Hazard. You are wondering why the attention is on him. and that's why I'm tackling you hard cos he didn't grow a tree in one day. He is a potential. The question of if the potential will be converted to better things is not busy to decide. We don't have the calculator for that. This kid needs be watched by you. I'm more than disappointed that you're Tryna question the hottest around this young man that is rated now by the league. And because of standards, to avoid bias, I asked you to equally apply the same to the other 9guys he was rated alongside with. That is all I need you to do. I'm not hyping the guy. |

komekn:He can't be impressive cos he came on at a time his team needed more players behind the ball to defend the score from going otherwise. He was on defensive mode on his debut for 11mins.... That's why I love Iwobi, he knows when to be a positional player and a team player. That's exactly what Sam did against Rangers. 1 Like |

That is why I said the '93 Eaglets formed part of the '96 Eagles. I never mentioned 1994. The 93 Eaglets contributed to our Olympic triumph and were on course for African triumph in 1996 but you know what happened. They were supposed to continue in such glory in 1998 but the hiding we received from Denmark plunged us into a dark era and since then till 2013 we remained in such darkness till we saw a glimpse of the light before the light disappeared again after 2013-2014. And yes naa... In the 2000s we saw a great assemblage of talents but we all know that story. How they all became Nearly men. We cannot even call the 2013 class that conquered Africa another Golden Generation. Bcoz they didn't have some longevity. Opportunity and Time played a role in our historic triumph in 2013... More like justice served for our absence at Afcon 1996 in same South Africa. In finality, I believe the rising and young current generation can rise to become the second coming of Nigeria's Golden Generation despite the failures of the 2000s class... because I have seen something and felt something..... Something different from what I felt and saw in the 2000s era. Only time will reveal it all. Icon4s: 2 Likes |

Icon4s: I cannot even start to understand why the NFF sacked a good coach for another white.....let me not complete it. Why change something that is working? I started the match but then went to sleep at half time, it was that bad and the weather no even help matter that evening . If he fails to take us to the WC I think he should be sacked there and then, in fact even if he qualifies us for the WC he should still be sacked now that we have enough time to get a new coach....that is assuming his team does not improve |

wayodude: So what does it mean? The only other definition that comes to my mind is that he is building the team's philosophy then I will ask, do we have any philosophy now? So if the 'building' isn't exactly in terms of discovering new and better players then what is it about? Definitely not our football pattern 1 Like |

Mickael2: Lets take the investigation in this direction...Since Rohr was appointed and played his first match in Sept 2016 (2yrs and 2 months ago)... How many players has Rohr capped and what is the average age of these players? Of the players he has capped or is about to cap, how many do we see as genuine long term national team players? Is it not getting more obvious his philosophy is centered around fast counter attacking football rather than possession based football? With each game this is clearer and clearer to the trained eye, though i agree it may not be pretty viewing. Our transition from defense to attack is improving all the time see our first goal at home against Cameroon, the goals at home against Algeria, against Iceland in the WC even against SA over the weekend. When teams sit back and dont attack meaning we need to unlock a packed defence his philosophy unravels and he doesnt come up with a plan B, we come here and shout we need a good Attacking Midfielder and Rohr cannot read games etc etc....some of which i agree with. Remember a former legendary coach (of course he wasnt called a legendary coach then) who capped 28 yr old Muhammed Gambo of Kano Pillars and took him to the Confederations cup? He also capped near retiree and prodigal son Shola Ameobi and took him to the World Cup. This is the situation we used to have, dont forget. 4 Likes |

komekn: See the problem here. You are hanging on to this particular match against Glasgow rangers, that is all you have against him, but out of 6 games he has had at least four good games, that means he has been consistently good. See, those that are saying he is good after watching him play well in four games out of 6 are perfectly correct as opposed to you, leave this matter at least till the end of the season then you can come back and conclude. Besides I remember you once said a certain player needed a season to get used to the physicality of the Championship, but Samu has gotten used to the technicality of the Spanish League in less than a season 3 Likes |
