busky007: Once again another person has jumped on the comedy bandwagon. Please show where I rated him on the basis of one match. ❓ Finally, l haven't rated him. All this comedy began, because I asked one question ❓ What makes him a HUGE TALENT ❓ and all this comedy has been birthed. Lol And finally, finally I am very much on the old-school I would never rate a player based on video clips. At best it's indicative but not conclusive. Finally, finally finally my opinion is irrelevant. I am not his agent, club manager and or Rohr. 3 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: Unless Rohr is planning to play a 3-5-2 against the defensive minded Ugandans, we might see Idowu playing RB..After all, he is predominantly right footed... Or Ajayi might play there and Olamilekan partners Ekong... The Ugandans can be rough at times so the boys might try and play it safe... My preferred lineup will be Akpeyi(Theo) Collins Ekong Ajayi Idowu Agu Etebo(Ogu) Iwobi (Iheanacho) Onyekuru (Musa) Success (Osimhen) Chukwueze (Kalu) 2 Likes |

komekn: Considering the fact that you have proven that you are more interested in British football than any other football, I don't think you are in any position to rate Chukwueze or any of our young players outside England... Your first comment on the boy was.after the rangers game.were you said it clearly that he wasn't exceptional... You haven't watched any of his games for Villarreal and now you are saying you don't watch YouTube highlights... Then how.would.you know how good he is? You think the people on this thread and the la liga experts who have been praising him haven't watched him well ? It's best you stick to your love for British players... Keep hyping the Josh Maja,Tammy Abraham and Dominic Solanke of.the world while those of us whose passion for football isn't limited to one country continue praising our boys! And mind you, their talent isn't in doubt at this moment....What we hope for is that it should materialize into something great!! 1 Like |

Chukwueze is a young human being. A lad who has worked so hard to be where he is today. This guy was even more than a year behind the likes of K.Nwakali and Osimhen Professionally. His deal to Arsenal failed... His deal to Porto also failed. But now he is at Villarreal and rose so meteorically and has been a major impact in that Villarreal team that even Nicola Sansone has to make way for him. La Liga recently recognised him and named him among the best young talents in la Liga presently and as one as this season goes on. We all on this thread know this yet Komekn walks in here to throw a vibe at the boy's talents by saying... "How many games have this Wonderkid even played in la Liga?" He even said Chukwueze played against a "lowly rated" Rangers in the Europa league. Oohh so in Scotland, Rangers and Celtic are both lowly rated now eh? But when the time comes to clamoring for Ovie Ejaria again, he won't use "lowly rated" again. This is the same Komekn that was disturbing the whole thread with what a Josh Maja is doing in lowly English League one. I never heard questions about if Josh can repeat such a lot a higher level ooo... Komekn praised his talents and even insulted the Super Eagles saying that no Super Eagles forward can go to league 1 and tear things up... Imagine such talk! All because Josh is English-born. We didn't enter him much then... We let it pass. Now we have seen a non-english born Nigerian in Chukwueze tearing things up already at a farrrr higher level than League 1. Chukwueze is making huge impacts in la Liga and in the Europa for Goodness sake. In just Two la Liga games he already has A goal and TWO MOTMs. In the Copa del rey he was bloody impressive too... The lad is on fast rise and La Liga wasted no time in naming him among the best young talents in la Liga right now! Yet Komekn feingns ignorance in order to hit against the lad's credentials as a huge rising talent by going about spilling absolutely unintelligent crass. See ehn... I don't know about some of you here, but I know the agenda of that man. He is here to only promote the talents of the English-born Nigerians and rubbish the talents of the Indigenous born Nigerians... From Osimhen to Success to Nacho and now to Chukwueze... He has said nonsense about them all... And it won't stop unless he knows we cannot tolerate such rubbish any longer. Would La Liga recognise Chukwueze among the very many youngsters in la Liga as special and among the very best young La Liga players if he was no huge talent?? Joebie: 3 Likes 1 Share |

TheGoodJoe: You cannot change the definition of 'Technical'. Being technical means having special practical knowledge or mastery of a system. This mean that we can have a defensively minded coach who is much more technical and good at the game than an attacking coach. So you do not measure how good a coach is by the style he plays. Rohr probably got his technique right after reading correctly how the body languages of his boys reacted to the harsh environment upon landing and training on the South African terrain. Hence the sudden opting for a 5 man defense. In any case, Spain says hi to you. They went there and got a thrashing in 2013. So much for flair at the expense of PURPOSE/RESULTS. 2 Likes |

komekn: This is what i will say about Chukwueze. He does have great potential. Why? He has over a very short period forced himself into the Villarreal first team. He did so by his exceptional displays in the B team. Already after just 3 senior starts, he has 2 goals and an assist. He played 10 minutes against Rangers in his debut for the first team. That was his first ever senior match. He has grown since then to become a starter and an important player for Villarreal. And yes, he is currently amongst the highest rated youngsters in Spain. Whether, he will reach his potential is another thing but the early signs are very promising. I will say this, Nigeria has not had a player like Chukwueze for a long time. 6 Likes 1 Share |

TheSuperNerd: The Supernerd. I read comments but I don't talk. I just prefer reading in ghostmode. I have been following you on this thread for a long time now and on other matters across NL as I see your comments on my following list when online. I admire your passion for Nigerian football but just try to play calm sometimes okay. I understand you only want to see Nigerian football rise and shine for a long time. Anyway, on this path you take in defence of our young talents I am with you. I have seen and read enough of you to know what you stand for and that you stand for the Truth. Good evening house, the noise emanating from the quarrels in this house has become deafening. I was on another section of nairaland and I heard people shouting at each other. I could even feel the vibrations from where I was. Davep came to call me that the House is on fire and that he too took part in the burning. Lolz. TheSuperned, Komekn and the rest of the combatants please lay down your weapons, we have had enough for the day. Let all nerves calm down please. All I could see is passion for the father land, yes. But let's respect ourselves. The arguments are already going over the roof. Please gentle men. 5 Likes 1 Share |

You still don't get it do you Captain? It is not about defending my opinions. It is about defending the truth of the talents of our indigenous born Naija lads. La Liga have certified Chukwueze a huge and special talent and someone walks in here still doing his possible best to make it sound like the lad is just another average and nothing special. I am sorry... I cannot stand for that as it is something that even TheGoodJoe, Icon4s, Chriskels, BascoVanVeli and Safarigirl (all major contributors here) have all taken great note of at various times in the past and in recent times even and have seen that he is just bent on rubbishing anything Indigenous-born in Naija soccer. He only wants to uplift the English borns... He is bringing in segregational bias and using division sentiments to talk up one group and talk down the other. It has been on like forever from day 1 he walked into this thread. For them, they may play cool if they wish... But for me, I will not spare his foolery here if he attacks another home-grown talent in such subtly debasing manner. Thank you. CaptainStephen: 6 Likes |
