When you praise one player in a collection of players to that level then you are opening them up to scrutiny

Pepe is the organiser. That's why no defensive combination works for Real except Pepe+one other. Anytime they pair Ramos with Varane it's a disaster, but any combination with Pepe in it is stable whether Pepe- Varane or Pepe-Ramos.

Before any game if they say one player will get a red card its usually Ramos as typical with any tackle dependent player. Go and watch Gueye Gana of Everton too

Tackles are desperate last ditch method to stop an action, In most cases proper positioning and anticipation would have handled the threat without resorting to desperate tackles
