**Inputs please. Considering WITHDRAWING my current application.** Congratulations to all PPR and ITA recipients. It's been awhile. I decided to take a break to avoid heartbreaks. AVO. My question... I have a previous work experience of 2yrs and 6months in a certain NOC. In one of my current employments, I'll be 6months in April (different NOC from the previous). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand both NOCs can be combined to claim 3years experienc. Must the second one be a minimum of 1year? |

Zutlin: I assume you mean April 2018? When was your aor? Was the second employment up to six months at time of ita? Was this issue flagged in your gcms notes ? I believe we've already concluded that noc can be combined so long as it's O A or B but need to understand your reason for being worried. 1 Like |

Zutlin: Provided both added up to 3 years before ITA you are okay NOCs can be combined your order is okay . what else again. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by Zutlin: 9:22am On Nov 21, 2018 |
Tojued: 1. No I mean April 2019. Just got the job last month. I need the 6 months to be able to claim 3 years. 2. Ordered gcms twice. No issue flagged. Notes from CIO are fine. AVO has not touched my file since they received it in MAY! 3. My reason for worry is that AVO is frustrating. They don't touch your files for months. When they do; they may invite for interview (and I feel I may be interviewed cos my job was from 5 years ago and cash payment). Getting an interview date can take another 2 months or more. Even after the interview, PPR may take months to come. Already my medicals expires in February and I'm likely to redo. My IELTS expires in June. If by March AVO is still as they are, i intend withdrawing my application and reapplying with more recent work experiences which I can back up with evidence of salary via bank. AVO is not an easy place to be. 1 Like |

timmiezone:Yes, changes are captured from the moment the profile is created but as long as you haven't gotten ITA, it should be fine. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by Tojued: 9:28am On Nov 21, 2018 |
Zutlin: Did you have three years experience at time of ITA, and did you tender reference letters / other evidence for this employment at point of AOR? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 6 by Zutlin: 9:34am On Nov 21, 2018 |
Tojued: Before ITA, I had 2 work experiences. A past employment of about 5 years ago which I used and included reference letter. My application is based on this NOC. I also have another past experience of 2yrs and 6months which I put in my personal history. This one is more recent and has bank evidence of salary paid but I couldn't use it cos I needed 3 years to get higher points. Now, my current employment will be 6 months in April 2019 and salary is also via bank. 1 Like |

Zutlin: Then relax na. Withdraw application ke. Who told you the new application will not go to Accra again just because you withdrew this one (issa suspicious reason for withdrawing imo). Accra cannot delay you for more than two years. There is no guarantee your new application will be approved in less than six months. Stop being so terrified of Accra. Your file is in order and you'll get your ppr at the appointed time. Keep keeping faith in your God (and if you don't have one yet now's a good time to get one ) I know it's easy for me to advise as I'm not in your shoes, but calm down. It may tarry but it will certainly come. Kpele! 23 Likes |
