Only your bank can tell you.... but it basically entails you filling a form and showing evidence of of fee... so take with u your offer letter indicating the fee and also a means of ID.. above all, different banks with different protocols... Cheers! vikmeek: |

EZINNE1759: You can apply for any course as long as you are able to convince the visa officer you have a genuine reason to study that course in Australia and you have the intention of returning back to Nigeria when you're done. Visit cricos.education.gov.au to search for a course and colleges offering it. I'm going to be writing my ielts exam next week. I don't intend to use an agent for the visa process so I can't recommend any. Some schools require you use their accredited agent in Nigeria. Before making any decision make sure you do findings diligently. 1 Like |

vikmeek: You will save yourself a lot of stress paying through form A or Western union. Austransaction is a safe platform to use. People have paid thousands of dollars using the platform. However, you should use whatever you are comfortable with. |

Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by EZINNE1759(f): 5:58am On Nov 23, 2018 |
jiyde:Lol, I'm neither lazy nor an olodo sha... Maybe a little lazy to always be studying But not to worry I'll still write the IELTS. I suppose it's more popular and credible and it's what my sponsor wants me to write. How cheap is it though? |

Amen to that!! Well, i paid for my PTE through my agent and they got my study material (Textbook and practice CD) sent to me... I read the whole book and did the practice tests on the CD... I practiced for 3weeks (tho lazy practice till the last week where I had to buckle up)... in all sha, I did intense practice for just 5days. Went for the exam and thank God, the rest is history.. The exam is in sections... Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing... In all, if you prepare well for it with their study materials, you'll scale through.. So to answer your question, it was a self study... Hope i did small justice to your question.. PS: I already gave out my study material to a friend who wants to write the exam too... You can google PTE Test centers in Lagos or wherever you are to know where you can register for the exam... the study materials come with the fee you pay for the exam... Cheers! yese001: |

vikmeek: Pls kindly recommend where I can do my upfront medicals and police clearance in Lagos, |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by jiyde: 5:16pm On Nov 23, 2018 |
Medicals: did mine at IOM Ikeja.. you'll have to book an apointment with them before going tho... then there is another one on the Island 'Dr Fatai Williams' or so... in all, just google 'Australian Immigration Medical centers in Lagos' and follow the thread... As for the Police clearance, you'll have to go to Alagbon Police Station in Ikoyi, Lagos... and ask for where you can get ur police character clearance done or ask for the ASP's office and talk to him like someone referred you to him .. I paid 5k and got it in less that an hour. Cheers.. vikmeek: |

Hello house.. after fulfilling my GTE criteria the school has asked me to proceed to pay tuition; my agent is saying hes going to book me for medicals also.. my question is..is it the same medicals for visa application? And those that recently applied for visa aside from your documents and sponsor document, what other documents do you advise on submitting ? Thanks. |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by shupy: 11:28pm On Nov 23, 2018 |
@Pitman10 it's going to be a red flag. What are you going to say you've been doing since 2013? 1 Like |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by jiyde: 11:49pm On Nov 23, 2018 |
YES, it is the same medicals for VISA... For the second question, go to the IMNI Website and look at the checklist of documents required.. they might have updated the list, so check yourself... it should be under VISA category on the Imni website... swaystunna: |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by WestAfrican: 2:17am On Nov 24, 2018 |
pitman10: Check to see if your Major or something related to it is on SOL. If YES do apply for a master's program. To start with, if your WAEC/NECO can get you Nursing admission in Australia then apply for a BSc in Nursing. You mau choose to state or not state in your SOP that you already have a degree in Philosophy but wish to change career. Also get your sponsor to write a letter saying they are in support of new career path and are happy to sponsor you. If you do have an interview with your CO, asking what you have been doing in the interim of your graduation from High school. Ensure you tell them the truth. 1 Like 1 Share |
