Issued SL is only valid for 6months from the date it was issued. Anything after that, you will asked to get a new one from the sponsor

Can someone use SL for another school apart from the one it bears the name?

SL does not carry the name of the school. It only carries the indication "Studium" meaning for study purposes.

So you can use your SL in any city you decide to go to, even after you have landed and registered with it at one city, you can transfer and use it in another city (so long as that city does not have attaching conditions live evidence the sponsor sends you money like some cities in Bavaria)

Hello everybody. Does anybody know how long it takes for a mail from uniaasist (VPD in this case) to get to Nigeria since they don't provide tracking information? Thank you.

Quick one, can I use SL in Saarbrueken without any issue as you stated above for some Bavaria cities?

Any tips or advice on student life (studies and side hustle) in saarbruecken?

I'll appreciate you input to the above concerns

Danke Bruder

B2 should take you less than a year. But if you mingle and force yourself to speak (your cut and join German) you would eventually start making sense sooner.
Also depends on how much time you wanna put-in. I would advice you to start learning German from Nigeria. Throw yourself to it. Just like @hounorableseyi hinted, If yo come here bro/Sis you go ration your time ooo. Alot of wahala if you are doing Bachelors in Engineering( or STEM).

Time no go too dey plus course work, hustle go tie you down.
If you want soft small....avoid education in BAVARIA...i wouldn't say more than this..

pls is environmental sciences among STEM course?

Good Morning House. i am going through some unusual situations with my student visa application, Kindly help me with best advice if you know better. most especially those who are in the same train with me.

I will start with the day I did my appointment which is on 14th Sept 2018. everything went successfully. My School university (BTU Cottbus) have a general enrollment deadline for every international student which is 30th Oct 2018. on 4th Oct 2018 i got my AM. I was told to send my passport, insurance and Letter of confirmation that the enrollment have been extended. I have send my passport , Travl insurance and a copy of the winter semester timetable where is stated that all international student have there final enrollment deadline as 30th Oct 2018 through dhl to the embassy in Lagos.
On 10th Oct 2018 i got an other mail from the embassy that i should forward or bring a confirmation that the enrollment have been extended.

I call the international officer one Mrs Angela. she told me that the university don't issue letter of enrollment extension. But she stated that the date on semester timetable 30th oct 2018, is ok for them to know that i can meetup the deadline if my visa is issued. she was very confident that i will meet up with the deadline if visa is issued soon, she even advice if i can buy a flight ticket before the deadline and forward it to them. so that the embassy will be sure that i will be there before the enrollment deadline of 30th October 2018.

I have bought a flight ticket of 24th October and have forward it to the embassy by email. im still waiting to hear from them week is going nothing news from the embassy.

please i want to know if anyone currently is facing with this kind of issue before.

and what can be the possible outcome of this as i keep praying and waiting for there response.

Hey, hope ur issue was sorted out?

..I really want to apply for Studien Kolleg so someone said I must learn German Language to a high extent... so how do I go àbout this since you said I should learn the language in Germany....please can you explain how it gonna lead me to studien Kolleg ...,or if you don't mind, can you share your number

It's better to do year 1 in Nigeria and then apply. Studienkolleg is hard. There are so many applicants and they take only the best, people who did well in the entrance exam. You wouldn't want to come and waste your time writing entrance exams.

Ps: I'm currently in Studienkolleg..

Just laughing here about bavaria...where at the TUM fanatics?
Only one state with dramatic auslanderbehorde(foriegners office) and weirdo Uni...

My advice, learn basics German upto A2...look for mini job and face your studies 100%....look for internship or work student....dont com here for courses that are not marketable....during summer...work full time to save...prepare for life after studies....linkedin...xing etc.
Employers dont employ based on university ranking here....this is not UK or USA...dont come here for MBA as well...if one school is difficult transfer your credit to another uni.

God bless our hussle..
Please can you throw more light to the reason u opines that one shouldnt come for MBA? Kindly suggest any business/economics related course that is marketable.

I understand that part quite well bro.

What I'm trying to clarify is the part he stated that some Bavaria city has attaching conditions like evidence that your sponsor is sending money to you.

I want to ask if he has knowledge of Saarbruecken and how SL works there

I'm trying to get as much information I can get so I can clarify and have my target set before 2019

hope you get the gist?

I ended up not applying because I didn't study any business courses and you'll require at least 18 ECT to be able to apply for Information Systems.
