So i started brainstorming on what next to do and decided to venture into sales of live goats but am worried about where to buy them directly from the northern parts of Nigeria and this is where i need the direction as to where to buy directly and cheap too. please anyone with a reliable source should help a brother out. Hey bro, well if you are serious about the biz as you said I just arrived from a business tour on 5 northern states; kano, kaduna, katsina, zamfara, sokoto and 1 middle belt (Benue).

The trip was aimed at getting base prices for all farm produce and livestock. Do you know a baby goat @ the north goes for as low as N2500 while a full grown adult can be as low as 9,000 to 10,000.

Back in lagos or PH they go for 40,000 to 60,000

Thanks for the piiece of info. Whats d transportatiin fare like, when moving them frm kano to phc? I am thinking that N10000 for an adult goat in kano is somewhat expensive. Anyway, i appreciate your advice.

If you can get them at Niger state, I will recommend that for you. Sokoto or Kebbi might be too far for you, except you are buying in large quantity.

hello guys, its really being a while is this page. i lost the link and had been trying to get back to this thread. finally i did with the help of one of my clients. first of all i will have to thank all that believed me and had entrusted their hard earned money with me even when we have not met, its not easy. i really appreciate. we are waxing stronger in the business by the day, i give God all the glory. we are still available to take ur orders. note there is no more pay on delivery but u can always come over or u send person if u are scared to send us money for ur livestock. we can go to any length to get u the cheapest goats u want depending on the quantity though. we sometimes goes to nigel republic. This is still the kebbi guy where u can get cheap livestock. we also deal with in rice, the best nigeria rice for that matter that is international competitive, as we all know kebbi is rice hub in nigeria.
