That is all we wanted to hear. We admit we are so far behind South Africa in nearly everything. Facts are very stubborn things. There is really no point arguing about some things. Yes Kenya has starvation problem - we are always a drought away from next starvation cycle in 2/3 of the country that is semi-arid but which thankful host only 10% of the population. Our BIG 4 agenda for the next 5yrs is FOOD SECURITY. So yes it's a problem we have to deal with. We depend on rain-fed agriculture in an ecologically fragile region. We are fixing that - food security thankfully is not a problem of growing food - but more of poverty & fixing the markets - we have rolled out some impressive yet fledging welfare systems to deal with the problem.
