I started my IELTS journey in August 2017, I actually thought it was just English and that I could just read and pass. I was wrong. Didn’t know there were tips and tricks to the exam until I met a friend who sent me time table and more materials to use. At a point, I had so many materials I became confused on what to use. I need an advice

1. Post-ITA, For those filling the application for employment, if there is a place i spent like one month employment before i moved to another place, if i have filled it in before and saved it, but tried getting reference and they do not give. Should I just edit it as unemployed? As long as it is not transmitted is it ok, I was reading of time-stamping application or so, I am confused

2) For POF, does it matter regarding the Gift Deed, if it was dated before or after the amount was transferred to one's account. In other words, should the Gift Deed be dated before or after the money was transferred to ones account or there is no difference

Sometimes I wonder why people have issues with writing.Writing was the simplest to me..first attempt 8.0 while listening was the hardest, because if you don't hear, there is absolutely nothing you can do..if you read the writing marking criteria, you should know what to do to get the score you want for example.lI knew I would get 8.0 because in task achievement I fully developed my main point explaining it critically which would have given me 9 coherence and cohesion- I made sure I used linking words appropraitely vocabulary 8- use less common words accurately-8 grammar I knew I had issues with grammar so I probably got 7 for missing p unctuations and articles-7 which gave me a band score 8.. I was smart, i made sure I got 9 in task achievement which is the easiest, use some high level words accurately, so my being average in grammar didn't affect me.
Most people get low scores because
1.you didn't answer all the questions asked which gives you a 5 in task achievement so by the time you add the other 3 aspects you would fall on 6
2.you have too many ideas in one paragraph and don't explain well which ends you up in a 6 so by the time you add other aspect you end up with 6.5
Some people don't even answer the specific question, they start talking abou the general question.
3you have too many grammar errors which is a difficult thing to overcome, you have to improve your English
Many people sit on the fence and don't state their opinion..,someone told me in her essay she wrote she partially agrees, i knew instantly she would get nothing more than 6.5 when she told me she got 6 I wasn't surprised..What is partially agree please? It is not about what you think, look for the best approach to write a good essay, and one of the easiest way is to fully agree or fully disagree, when you partially agree it is extreemly difficult to state your point.
When writing examples many people use personal examples because the question said from your experience.we need to be smart about things if you want to pass ielts.. use a research or study you read, it is simple and easy to validate your points.when you use personal examples you mess up the whole essay

Are you saying people in Nigeria can't get Work Visas? What about the Temporary Resident Visa? My in-law says his got a Canadian visa as a temporary resident through an agent. I just hope it's the real deal.

Well think of it, if your FD has not matured by the time your Medicals expire, you are essentially going to travel empty handed.
In this case, the lock-in date is 22nd July, I'm guessing that's his AOR since it's a Sunday and no ITAs were issued on a Sunday this year.
Obviously, he must have done medicals before this date.
Now his money will be returned on 11th July 2019. Very likely that he would already be in Canada because his Medicals might have expired.
So in theory, he will spend at least a couple of weeks flat out broke in Canada while waiting for the maturity of his FD.

That's my own understanding sha. If anyone wishes to fix for one year, just make sure that the maturity is way before the expiration of medicals.

The results are uploaded in batches. Same thing happened few weeks ago when i checked my result. I didn't see it until after two days

I am not bothered though, I got the my required score with IDP on 27th October, I registered November 10 with BC because I wasn’t sure of the writing way before 27th October result came out. But it will be nice to know the result nevertheless

-if you do not plan to gain points with the employment you can move it to your personal history. Do NOT change it to unemployed, they track changes you make in your application in GCMS. You can also write a LOE explaining the reason - you’re not claiming points and you cannot get a reference letter.

-I think it should be done after because it’s a legal doc describing a transfer. It would also mention details of the transfer so I don’t see how it can be done before the transfer

TRV = easier and you don't need an agent.

Thinking loud, you may not get a reference for barely working for 1.5 months. If I were you, I'll show it and do a LoE that I'm unable to get a Ref. due to the brevity of the employment.

Date should be after the transaction has been consummated, not before.

Dear Richness, pls u just have to pick urself up. WRITING TASK2 is an aspect that nobody can determine the pendulum d topic given will swing. Hence d reason why we have people finding WRITING difficult. Remember u're marked on how relevant ur answer is. Some1 like me discovered this because in some of my attempts, I find the TASK2 topics difficult to quickly comprehend with. So I believe firstly one need to pray d TASK2 given topic is one that one can easily reason and find points to develop. Hence d reason why its important to try get used to as many as possible Task2 topics. and pray one finds it more easy that day.
Pls be ready to battle on without much gap and trust God to surely answer you.

Calling for remarking strictly depends on how confident u're in what you wrote. The conviction had to solely come from ur inner mind first before u decide to follow any other advise. "Some" have been successful with remarks while "many" have not. So choose wisely.

I have been "indirectly" advocating for this in my quotes. People will benefit more if we plan organise tutorials even if na days to exam. That to me I believe supersedes these post ITA questions.

Write a letter for the person to go with alongside ur Int'l passport. Then send them an e-mail notification on this ahead. In fact u can have it printed for the person too.

Reason for my question is;
I am currently preggy. My hubby & I are processing Canada PR. Currently awaiting our PPR but I’m not sure we will get CoPR before my fit to fly expires. Was thinking of going to the US to birth my baby but hubby thinks there is no economic importance to it and it’s a waste of money & financial resources. His reason is because we (including our baby) will eventually relocate to Canada even if he’s born here(Nigeria).
What do u guys think?
Will I be wasting money birthing our baby in d US even when our Canada App is almost pulling through. Does children not born in CAD/USA have the same benefit as the ones born there?

Since you have not gotten your Visa yet, please don't bother biko…...USA are now denying pregnant woman enmasse and not granting them visa. If you had the Visa, I would have advised you go birth there cos there is a difference between citizenship by birth and by Naturalization. No matter the condition, Citizenship by birth CANT be revoked. Alternatively, pray for speedy EE process, so you go birth your baby in Canada. All the best.
