GBOKASINCHA: I'm APC but I'm disappointed for now as far as road infrastructure is concerned in Southeast. Work has been ongoing as claimed but the pace is slower than snail. When Jonathan was in power it was same pace as all these roads have been under construction without end since 2003. The Port-Harcourt Owerri road with less than 20 km left from Omarelu to Umuagwo has deteriorated back to the way it was in 2014 and so has Oyigbo section of Aba-Port Harcourt expressway that made me condemn Jonathan. Good enough there's still time to make a difference between now and February 2019. So APC please prove that we are different by showing Southeast love between now and February. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Afamed: Pictures are worth more than a million words. This the current status of Onitsha-Awka-Enugu road. I will get the pictures of Ihiala-Orlu road which I consider the WORST federal road in the East and post it soon. The sad thing is that efulefu buffoons like Osita okechukwu the DG of Voice of nigeria (VON), Ayogu Eze, Ngige, Joe Ibokwe and their families all suffer on this road while travelling home to Enugu, Awka, Nnewi respectively but still have the guts to kill their conscience and praise this evil and uncaring APC government because of the chicken change they get from appointments in dead parastatals like VON, and Labour ministry. Arab contractors who do substandard work. As the repair and move forward the back spoils that's why Enugu to portharcout road would never be completed. Why not Julius Berger Afamed: |

Pls which ihitte are you talking about? Ihitte uboma LGA? I am here to burst your lies and deceit. From all indications, you are nothing but PDP apologist. Even though I am not from the East. You said you have not seen any massive project in the east despite you have moved from one state to state. Here, for the PDP propagandist like you, I do come to the east virtually every 2month to carry some official assignment.Presently , as I am typing, I have been in the east close to 2 weeks now. And I have gone up to 4 states ( Enugu,Imo, Anambra and Abia State). The roads from Umueze that connect Okigwe to the express road via Ihite in Imo state is a road just constructed by F.G via NDDC. The road was in a mess years ago.[/quote] |

Afamed: You can't bust his lies cos they're not lies. You've gone on to further ridicule yourself by counting state roads and even ones completed in the pre-APC as part of the illusive 'massive projects'. Something is really wrong with folks like you. In October, I drove home from Abuja and passed the expressway at Enugu cos I believed anumanu like you. Before getting to Anambra, I had my rear bumper tied with ropes in 3 different places and my exhaust pots torn open. Truth be told, there's ongoing construction on the road but all they're are doing is grossly inadequate. Again, only a fool would argue about this. And before you call me a PDP apologist, check my posts on my profile. I hardly get involved in discussions like this. This administration is a failure even more than the previous one. We should all do well to replace them and hope for progress. As for anyone looking for these projects, stop wasting your time. One can only see mirages from afar. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Keep waiting for the government like your waiting for Elijah to come back. 1 Like 1 Share |

To buttress your point. The story of Enugu to Onitsha Express Way is one that can bring tears to your eyes. If not for State network of roads provided by Gov Ifeanyi and Gov Obiano (Old Road) which runs through Udi to Awka, it will be practically impossible to commute btw the two states. Feed your eyes with these pictures and see the systematic neglect of the SouthEast by the FG. The Roads Are Graveyards of their former selfs. Yet we have a government. *SPITS*
