Sometime last month, i travelled to Afikpo from owerri, i was pleased to pass through Aba-Umuahia - Okigwe road, i was so happy to see massive road construction going on, a section of the road have been completed. Before any human will say it is a project of previous administration, let me inform you that this project is funded by Sukuku Bond

Why do you people like to look for sympathy like this. Go to Abia, Imo , Enugu states if there no big elephant roads construction going on in those states. I have just moved around those states within 2 weeks now. Go to 9th mile down to Okpudo/ Umumba by Ezeagu local government in Enugu state. That's by Onitsha/ Enugu express way. A road of 22klm is nearing completion by RCC.Go to Okigwe/ Umuahi/ Enugu roads. Arab contractors and Setraco are on ground. That's another roads of 76klm under construction. Come to Second Niger Bridge here , it's another project by FG government. To be sincere, I don't know why you people like a life of self denial like this. Or is it because you have never visited another areas in your region that made you to believe all these deceit people sell to you?

I'm APC but I'm disappointed for now as far as road infrastructure is concerned in Southeast. Work has been ongoing as claimed but the pace is slower than snail. When Jonathan was in power it was same pace as all these roads have been under construction without end since 2003. The Port-Harcourt Owerri road with less than 20 km left from Omarelu to Umuagwo has deteriorated back to the way it was in 2014 and so has Oyigbo section of Aba-Port Harcourt expressway that made me condemn Jonathan. Good enough there's still time to make a difference between now and February 2019.

So APC please prove that we are different by showing Southeast love between now and February.

I just came back to Abuja after a two-weeks trip to Awka and can say with all honesty that Federal roads from Kogi State to Benue State to Enugu State and finally to Anambra State are all in deplorable conditions..

Pictures are worth more than a million words. This the current status of Onitsha-Awka-Enugu road.

I will get the pictures of Ihiala-Orlu road which I consider the WORST federal road in the East and post it soon.

The sad thing is that efulefu buffoons like Osita okechukwu the DG of Voice of nigeria (VON), Ayogu Eze, Ngige, Joe Ibokwe and their families all suffer on this road while travelling home to Enugu, Awka, Nnewi respectively but still have the guts to kill their conscience to praise this evil and uncaring APC government because of the chicken change they get from dead parastatals like VON, and Labour ministry.

Here, for the PDP propagandist like you, I do come to the east virtually every 2month to carry some official assignment.Presently , as I am typing, I have been in the east close to 2 weeks now. And I have gone up to 4 states ( Enugu,Imo, Anambra and Abia State). The roads from Umueze that connect Okigwe to the express road via Ihite in Imo state is a road just constructed by F.G via NDDC. The road was in a mess years ago.
