So I don't bother acknowledging any unnecessary arguments.. The phone is perfectly fine for its price.. You literally can't get such quality from any other brand.. But people will still complain.. They want their Keke Napep to be as fast as a Pagani.. Claiming the manufacturer should do something about the Engine

You and any other persons that have this and other similar issues can buzz me if you want your device returned to Xiaomi after sales for assessment and subsequent repairs, you'll bear the shipping costs plus the repair cost if it is found out to be user's damage, otherwise repair is free. A certificate of the assessment will be given prior to repair to make you decide

Below is an example of such case.
Customer bought note 5 4/64gb. After 4 days, he called to say screen has stopped responding to touches. I retrieved the phone from him and refunded him. I sent the phone back to xiaomi after sales unit, below is the assessment report. Phone has had contact with water before. When I retrieved it, it was just the screen not touching, but the phone, on reaching China, could not be powered on again, obviously due to continuous moisture effect while in transit
To pay ¥350 for repairs.
There are instances when some buyers chickened out of having their items returned for assessment by xiaomi on being told dt factory faults will be repaired for free but they'll have to pay if buyer's damage.

Point of reference is that, people will flay the brand for such short duration of usage B4 developing fault, oblivious of the fact that even a new born baby exposed to harsh conditions will "develop faults", if not die.

Lol, i used oukitel k6000 plus and my brother, I hear am. The phone must be switched off after charging unless you won't recieve calls. You can use it to iron your clothes sef. The overheating can cause global warming. And the battery life though good isn't as I expected. I decided that wasn't a phone for me. I mistakenly saw mi max on jumia and in getting to know it, I found out it has an improved version, mi max 2. This was going to be my first Mi phone. After using the phone, my life became illuminated. All I wanted was a phone that's warm on heavy usage but xiaomi gave me a phone that remained cool no matter my heavy use.

I said am using gionee and I regret buying it. Those comparing tecno, umidigi, infinix, with this brand need Holy Spirit intervention. It will give you what Samsung will give you and halve the price with better camera and better battery juice. If a brand can conquer India that's over 1 billion people within 2 years, then it's not just hype but excellence inclusive..

I charged my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 last night but just tried to charge it now and it's no longer charging even my laptop is not seeing the phone. I've swapped charger, usb even tested on another phone and they are all working. Hard to believe it's spoilt after just few months of using it.
