I'd wanna meet Queen Jezebel as she is the most vilified woman in the bible. I always wondered if the history of this queen was not distorted due to religious bigotry.

Jezebel was a foreigner who married the most hated king in the history of the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah. Much of the history of that time, as passed down in the bible, was written by the religious establishment who were mortal enemies of the crown. Who can tell if what we know today as history was not a deliberate distortion of the true nature of the historical Jezebel.

Ancient Israel is similar to today's Pakistan in terms of zealotry. Imagine how history will record a Pakistani 1st lady today who is an American import trying to implement laws on women's rights, abortion, birth control, alimony or LGBT rights?!

Your analogy is brilliant and your perspective might have some merit. But there were specific allegations against her. For example, the allegation that she killed the prophets of Yahweh could be viewed under the bias you are alleging since the prophets didn't like Ahab and his foreign wife much. But what she did to Naboth was another matter. Naboth was a commoner and there's no reason to believe that story was made up. Stories about her might have been exaggerated a bit but she mostly liikely was a Cannanite Lady Macbeth.
