eagleeye2:In fact I made sure I inform my wife about all my TBs and the various dates of their maturity. My wife also knows my ATM PIN and my password and PIN for my mobile transfer. I can not sweat and save all these money and I will come and go and die like that (God forbid) without leaving anything behind for my love ones. 7 Likes |

chukzyfcbb: See how easy it sounds to you. You never factored in omonile, trespass ,high chances of buying a land in dispute, whose dispute may last for up to 20 years with an injunction that no activity will take place on the land. 7 Likes 1 Share |

vexing: People hide such details at times because of 1. An evil woman, who may want to kill you and easily take all. 2. An ungrateful woman who upon knowing of your account balances will not appreciate whatever is given to her or may want you to squander all on enjoyments. I know my uncles fate. 16 Likes |

Crude oil price crashing fast 62 dollars for bent and 53wt ....this mean less dollar to defend the naira ,a devalution might be imment, rerserve slides from 48 to 42 and more euro bond issue (more dollars flowing out for interest payment) and new minimum wage (amist declining....dollars inflow)...couple with election (dollar demand increase)......some thing must give way .......review your foriegn exchange risk associated with naira bond and tb holdings 3 Likes |

All this are the pre 2015 negative indices plus pmb caused capital flight....tb rate might be raised futher ,Russia is planing a production cut ,Saudi is using over supply to persuade Trump and Americans to turn a blind eye on the murder case....infact Trump just tweeted he happy with Saudi with 50 dollars oil .......for Nigeria a 70 is the fears price ,a hike lead to more dollars but unfutunatly more subsidies of pms and high deseal price like to more inflation ....a low mean no subsidies incured and lower inflation but the naira might collapse leading to hike in all good and service..... 1 Like |

As a tb holder....u just don't put money and sleep...b4 u wake up u money will loose it purchasing ability....u have to check crude prices daily 2 check us interest rate by Fed 3 check out flow and inflow of forex by fdi,4 check money market rate tragectory (if it keep going higher it a danger sign )....this for holder of 3,600,000 naira(10000 )dollars and above ....to avoid a loss ...know when to enter and exit (period of stability is the key) 1 Like |

jidobaba:Please be careful in buying any crypto currency, the price is highly unstable, in fact they are falling like London bridge. My advice to people is to put a little of their investment into Cryptos and not all of their investment. It is better to diversify your investment. Use a part of the money to buy land, use another part for TBs then use a very small part of what is remaining to buy bitcoin or whichever crypto you may prefer. 1 Like |

speedyconnect3:its no easy bruh. But will you fold you arms and keep your money in the bank instead. That's why I said Buy and Fence, the reason i said fence, its because its a good way to wad off Omoniles. land dispute/Problematic land can be avoided to a large extent if people took the right professionals to sites before purchase. Thankfully Omonile lawyer (mod of the property section and property lawyer) here on Nairaland has shared a lot of the tricks they use to sway buyers all for free. I believe everyone here should read through his threads to learn a thing or two. 2 Likes |

speedyconnect3:I know people always have this fear but the truth is that no body will like to kill the goose that lays the golden egg. To your second point, once the woman knows that the money belongs to both of you she will not want you both to squander it. The luck I have is that I have always allowed my wife to feel ownership of my wealth. We spend the money together even though I make the money almost alone. 3 Likes |
