alBHAGDADI: Most stupid sermon I have heard in a long time. There's no scripture backing this. So shut up. And don't turn the Bible up side down. |

alBHAGDADI:Those Bible verses were scriptures that vividly explain why pornography is a sin in fact they gave strong backing to my assertion. I for once never said there must be a direct bible verse supporting answering of husband's name, I only said that scriptural verses must have give strong backing as to why it must be so. You haven't been to state that. You gave illustrations using the men of old in the bible answering their husband's name and I did say they were not. Abraham was Sarah's husband but never for once did the bible mentioned Sarah Abraham |

noturbusiness:You even contradict yourself more. You mentioned Sarah the wife of Abraham right? Is Abraham is surname name?. Aisha the wife of Buhari but fail to note that Buhari is his surname. This has nothing to do with feminism but what the bible says OK mr 1 Like |

AZeD1:Still doesn't change the fact that they identify with their husband name. My aunty bear her own husband name. The man name, his father name, his grandfather's name are all part of same genealogical records. Part of same family tree. Now tell me, what reason did this feminist use in getting rid of their husbands name? Is it not to prove their equality with men? Weak men like you who asslick women in the public are the once that end up beating and maltreating their wife in private. Does the man's name bite? Why refuse to bear with it? |

ivanalimi: If I'm someone who lives by fantasies, I won't be standing with my head so high as at now. NOTE: I didn't say I will impose surnames on my children. To me, that's an abomination because they are my husband's. If you are a man, may life bless you with sons of your own so you won't go through the experience of what men without sons go through especially secretly, not to talk of men without children of theirs. I'm glad to honour my step dad by adding his surname to my father's and everyone in the family is happy. If that is something so upsetting to you, then I can't help you. Furthermore, I don't look for men but most look for me and all I have to do is choose from those that found me. Do you know what? Many can't resist my qualities, so they wait for me to make up my mind about them. They know I'm more important and of higher worth than the surnames of mine that scare your type. Again, don't you worry for me, I've chosen one out of those who found me and he isn't bothered about it but it's my decision to stick to what I intended or not. It wouldn't stop me from being me, from loving him, being faithful and being submissive to him because it is the commandment from God. Everywhere I go, I would be known as his wife and he, my husband. Being a man's wife isn't determined by a name but by convenant and the willingness, determination, discipline and conscious effort made to sticking to that oath. NA WIFE NAME MAN WON CHOP ? I'm not just created to make only one man happy but to also put smiles on the faces of as many people as I can. That's what I live for and that's what makes me fulfilled in life. I leave with this: 8 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter. Numbers 27:8 2 Likes |

asuustrike1:You got this question from the guy who replied me a few minutes ago right?lol You name, your father's name, your grandpa or great grandpa names are all part of same same genealogical history. Same family tree. What matters is Sarah identified with her husband name. Most of my friends call me by my father's name. The two names buhari and Mohammed are his name |

Why do some people reason from their anus? Just listen to yourself. All the women you mentioned are celebrities, and they got into the limelight using their maiden name. If they erase the name they were known with just to answer another name, it would cause some sort of setback in their business. Have sense oh, it's very essential. Op when i get married and add my maiden name to my new name, come to my house and break my head |

Augustap: I'll come to your house and break your head. I'm just joking o But seriously, it pays to obey God. Obeying him allows blessings to come into your union. Now, what do you stand to gain with your father's name? Compare it with what you stand to lose disobeying God. |

AZeD1:reasonableness? that is why we have many Tonto dike's who thinks a Christian woman is equal to her husband. that is why we have many broken marriage today. is your husband name biting you? will your husband name hurt you? if his name will hurt you why marry him? is there any other reason for refusing to use your husband name expect copying radical feminist ideas and equating yourself with a man? the Bible is an anti feminist book. |

Re: A Christian Woman Should Not Include Her Father's Name To Her Husband's Name by AZeD1(m): 7:20pm On Nov 25, 2018 |
noturbusiness:I'm not a woman (but common sense is far from you). The lots of broken home are from people who changed their name to that of the husband. The woman in Abuja who killed her husband changed her name but going by your logic, she must have been submissive. The Bible says " a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one." How does a man leave his father when he still bears the father's name? That verse also says the man is "joined" to his wife not the other way around. When you join something you become a part of that thing so if we want to go by literal interpretation, the man is to drop his name and take that of the woman. Like I said earlier, when you try and use the Bible to justify stupidity, you'll run into trouble. 1 Like 1 Share |

AZeD1:hahahaha.create a post on that verse, invite me let talk about it. let us not disturb this thread with another topic. but before you do that , I need you to answer all these questions. why refuse to bear your husband name? does it bite you? the ideology behind refusing to change your name, is it a supported by the bible? in the whole of the Bible did you see any married woman being identify with her father's name? if keeping a man's name is not important, why is it that in the Bible when a man died without raising offsprings, he wife is to keep his name and his brother is to raise offsprings that will bear the late man name by performing brother-in-law marriage with his widow? |
