2. Which route us faster paper/online route as I am almost due.
3. If paper route is best, which visa office do you suggest?
4. Do I need to notarize the letter of invitation?
5. Who do I address the letter to.

Transferwise has good rates, but you cant send more than 1k on each transaction, if you want to send more than 1k, you'll need to send in some docs for a security validation.
Their rates are better than Worldremit. Their extra charges are also less than Worldremit's.

No, there won't be a need for extra adults if they have clocked two years.

Children less than two years travel as infants so they are not allocated seats which means they are sitting on someone's laps and the rule is one adult per infant. Children between 2 and 11 years travel as 'children' - they get their own seat on the plane pay the child fare of 75%. Any child 12 and above travels as an adult - seat on the plane and 100% of the airfare.

Anyhoo, The Immigration Website doesn't specifically say you should notarize the IV letter, but I notarized mine, cost about $50. I did it because in my mind I felt it will be like an extra sign of commitment to whoever is processing the application, especially since I haven't been 6months in Canada. You address the letter to the IRCC. We haven't received a decision on the application yet sha. I also posted the letter to the applicant incase they are called in for an interview.

Have tried getting PTA? Access Bank gave PTA for PR in June. You have to be about 2 weeks from your travel date or so. If its not too late that could also help.

You can actually get PTA on a one way ticket in any bank provided the person attending to you knows what he/she is doing. what i mean is that you may get it in a branch of a particular bank and you get to another branch and it will be another story. I bought mine in Zenith bank abeokuta then and i know of other branches of teh same zenith that wouldnt sell. My advice is for you to ask at any bank you are using and you may be able to get it if the person in charge knows the right thing.

Yeah GTB refused. said its only school n co they give. I was surprised when Access agreed and was still prepared to be rejected when the Customer Service lady went up stairs to confirm with my documents. But she came down n asked me to come back a few a hours later. I got the debit at work n went back to pick it up. Try the branch I used.. Its the branch near Pal Pensions on that Zenith bank road in V.I after GTB if you are going towards Dominos or that VCP (not sure of the name) hotel.

Hi people, Please i am relocating very soon and i'll like to cargo/send some boxes to my new location before i eventually leave the country. I have like 3 suitcases to send before i leave. It's expensive to pay for excess luggage at the airport so i would like to take the normal 2 suitcases but cargo some more boxes of mainly clothes/shoes/bags (personal items) before i travel. I called a few companies like IMPEX and they said they only take items from U.S to Nigeria and not Nigeria to overseas. Any ideas of companies that offer such services ? Thanks in anticipation of a response.

Hello everyone, welldone for your great contributions. I just got my PPR, so I am officially welcoming my self here although I have been reading for a while now. I am an accountant and will be converting my ACCA to CPA before I leave Nigeria. My husband works in a multinational company in Nigeria as a Public relation person( though that’s not the job title). We have to 2kids 2 and 4years.
I am a lil confused about where to settle. The things that are important to me are:
1. Good neighborhood to raise kids
2. Where we can eventually buy a house
3. Good jobs for both of us
4. Not in the regular Lagos rat race where you cannot save or own a property or traffic for hours
5. Good weather( I know Canada is cold, atleast not to settle in one of the coldest)
6. Where French is not a necessity
The more I researched the more confused I get.
I will really appreciate your suggestions.
