Kenfrey1993:I assessed as a CSM. The amount is AUD 880 which excludes the cost of sending your transcript. Vetassess website is explicit, pls read through. Also confirm on Aussie's job sites that your JD is in sync with what is obtainable in Australia job market. Hello house, I am new to this thread. I want to clarification on skills assessment. I have a BSc in Biochemistry, PGd in International Business management. I also have 10yrs working experience in Banking, is there a possibility I will get a positive assessment for my banking experience even though my first degree is not banking related? |

Good day!!! First, I want to thank my friend for directing me to this link. I have been reading and digesting everything. Thanks to all the contributors... You guys are amazing. However, I can't seem to find anything close to my area of study. I am 26 years old, B. A Mass Communications from UNN, Single, Broadcast media journalist with special focus on radio presenting for about 8 years i.e post graduation work experience and pre-graduation work experience like internship and voluntary projects. But I can't seem to find anything close to that. Need to do know that as I am about to apply for my IELTS and PTE by next year. Don't mean to be a bother... We can link up via my mail- viviannelouisa@gmail.com or whatever works for you. Thanks! You guys are great! |

mscheev02: I will advice you to check out Canada's immigration because there is no state sponsoring your occupation. ACT used to sponsor it but they have closed shop on it. |

bellong: Ouch! Thanks boss.... I appreciate it. I am really down for Australia over Canada.. Is there any other option. I actually have work experience in Customer care during NYSC but it was just a year so I hardly mention it sef. I have been searching for anything a bit close.. Stumbled on Programs Director for radio/TV from one of the aussie site suggestions but the process was a tad confusing. |

mscheev02: Other option is student visa. I am not sure if your one year experience can nail the assessment for customer service manager. tunlex01 may be able to advice you better with that. |

luvluvluv: GreenMavro: while this is an option and you may scale through with assessment. this may be dangerous when applying for visa. some CO's have been know to run whois on websites. Does the company have a working number and email? Does google search return any information on the company that tallys with letterhead information? If the above is yes. you are good to go |

luvluvluv: I personally don't think this is an issue. I've read the TRA handbook and it's not mandatory for a company to have online presence. 1 Like |

Hello Everyone, I am just wondering...is it advisable to do my medicals and police report before I lodge my application. Since police report is only valid for 3 months, I was thinking of doing it and the medicals after I apply. What do you guys think. |
