Good morning everyone

I live beside a river which only flows during raining season.

For like Four months now, I have been noticing the presence of termite in my compound and also having problems with termite feeding on the planks of my 3 year old building and I've been fumigating it every time since then. I kept on noticing the that they still feed on the planks. I've not been able to get their base in my compound despite serious searching. The worst happened yesterday when the whole ceiling of one of the rooms of the building came down. Thanks to God no one was there.

Please do anyone know what else I can do to get rid of termites completely from my compound.

Termites have their own cure. Just find it.

Just go to wood market n complain to them,,they knw d right chemical to give u for spraying d wood,,thinner mix with some stuffs,,,

Relocate to somewhere safe first, fumigate and come back. For safety purpose

just use Google... honestly you'll see methods

The Wood used for the roofing is Bad. Try and re-roof your house and make these problems know to a professional.

A logically good advice but his case appears deeper than just a simple natural occurrence considering that he had fumigated it several times. Perhaps he should consider doing a family/house deliverance and see what would be revealed.

The termite are from the wood and have had the same occurance but I think what you need to do is to replace the roofing wood.let them remove all the roofing woods and get a original well grown woods.its in the market .

First of all, you have to reroof your building with stronger woods. Then secondly as the new wood are being nailed in place, the carpenter using a paint brush applies condemned engine oil on the wood.

That is like painting the planks black using condemned engine oil. This should last a lifetime as the hydrocarbon present in the oil will never wear off making the wood uninhabitable for the termites.

Don't bother about people saying fumigate (some just dey sell market) because after a while the effect of the fumigation wears off and insects are all over the place again.

This is how it's done in the town I grew up in.
