So now, his husband told him to return home. But instead of the stupid woman to get back home to look after her ailing son. She recklessly got Tyrion arrested. It was after that Ned loosed his balanced leg.

The books are fantastic. The story telling is just beyond words. The details are crazy. Theres so many things in the books that arent in the tv show.

And there are so many things they changed. For example when Jon found the direwolves, in the book he claimed Ghost himself but in the series it was like the decision was made for him and that happened throughout the series i.e Jon having responsibilities being imposed on him. If I had read the books while watching that episode, I might have stopped because the two personalities are quite different but I guess some changes have to be made. Thank God I watched only the series at first

The tweaking in the movies is quite a stretch. The most annoying tweak is still the enfeebling of Jaime. Jaime in the books is too good a swordsman to be that disappointing in the show.

btw, throwback to when Olenna referred to Loras as 'a swallower of sword, through and through'.

Martin has released some sample chapters from TWOW. The show is far ahead of these chapters. The book hasn't been released yet though. Maybe he shared some of the content of TWOW and ADOS with the directors of GOT.

I'm just praying he remains in sound health so he can release the remaining books. The show spoilt the fun I had reading the books

Quite annoying. Jamie lannister was the deadliest man with a sword in the 7 kingdoms after ser Arthur dayne In the series he just a fine boy.

The show makes you hate Jamie but the books you grow to like him and understand him.

So many secrets in the books. Also the iron born aren't shown in full strength. Those guys actually drown themselves and are revived to be called iron born.

The freys are all horrible. Lol

Reading it again currently in a feast for crows.

I found the start of that book interesting about the citadel and we all know Martin's doesn't just waste words.

Mine.... Tyrion's trial when tywin taught he finally got his bastard dwarf tamed tyrion got betrayed shae was really a b*tch after all , then tyrion pulled his last card "I demand trial by combat .. Damn!!! the look on tyrions face gave me goosebumps tywin be like "I should have killed you a long time ago "
