i will also like to ask you a question too.
Let's say you are the wife and your husband works away from home,it is very logical that as a woman who might probably be taking care of just herself and/or kids won't need that much food, hence the shortage of some of these items!
How do we even think these stay at home wives end up with savings?it's through avenues like these.
He never mentioned where he asked the woman about the foodstuff and the next thing we hear is divorce angry
This guy has a very manipulative sidechick and needs someone like me around to knock him back to reality should he go astray!
U may have a point but its just an assumption. But i am not botheres about savings or not. I am bothered abput the fact that she wasnt calculative in her planning. Wjether u agree with me or not, it speculates alot. How she spends the money becomes a question. If salt isnt available which is an everyday requirement, the chances that some other items will be missing too. U may be right about the side chicks but ahe sef should not be giving loopholes for the issues to come up. He may be looking for a way to divorce but sometimes ladies should be conscious of things around them.

oga what is wrong with you? she's your wife, don't call her trash.. the best person to correct her is you. why are you her husband if you can't correct her or advice her, but you are here condemning her. you really do have anger issue and I think your money is getting into your head. please be a better husband, no body is perfect, if u divorce her you will continue to divorce b4 you join your ancestors. couples aught to be one.. no sign of love in all your comment, do you even love your wife? yes she did wrong but its a simple thing u can handle without noise.

you seem like one who get easily irritated and angry.
how can you refer to your wife as this woman!!

You don't seem matured for marriage since you're thinking of divorce for ordinary salt and Vegetable oil.

I guess you have a side chick somewhere, I think you do.

So I'm really pained. I am a highly mobile kind of businessman but I have my family stationed somewhere in the North West. I send my silly wife a six figure monthly upkeep to ensure she takes care of the home properly. I got home a few days ago.

Today, she went out and I decided to go prepare some boiled rice and beans for the house. Can you believe that this woman does not have ordinary salt and vegetable oil in her kitchen? Women can be so unreliable and incompetent I tell you. This is all the work she does and she can't get simple salt in her kitchen.

Should I just divorce her? I hate incompetence. I need advice from y'all. Stupid or not. I don't give a frigging rat's arse!

It seems you don't have a mind of your own and cant hold your forte. I am sorry to say this but you sound childish and immature. I am not supporting your wife o, infact I think she deserves to be queried. But before that, did you ask her why these condiments are missing in the kitchen? Do you know if she is overwhelmed with a few things hence why these items are missing? Its possible that she forgot to buy them from her last shopping...lastly, I really hope not to end up with a man like you. A man who wont fail to capitalise on my weakness and bring family affairs out in public.

That way, you are the only confirmed ewu by birth. grin grin grin Can't some Nigerians just advice or ignore? Nitwits everywhere. No wonder we are the poverty capital of the world.

Well, u have a point but yet lets ask ourselves a critical question. If she constantly cooks in that kitchen, do u not see anything wrong that there is no salt. Lets be realistic, this guy mentioned that he gives her 6 figure value monthly for upkeep. Its something to be worrisome. If something as common as salt is not available in the kitchen, u can imagine what else would be lacking in that kitchen. Dont rush to tackle the guy. Although i dont see why that should be a basis for divorce but still it shows the lady's nonchallant attitudes and a lot can be drawn from this.

Are you suggesting the woman has been feeding her husband with unsalted food? Is it not possible that the man doesn't know where the salt is kept? Let's assume there is no salt in the house.. is it not possible the woman will return from wherever she went to with salt?
Where did he get the rice and the beans he boiled? Did they fal from the sky? If it is a case of mismanagement he is trying to establish, how come he found rice and beans at home? From the tone of his voice, you'll see it is the first time of not finding salt at home. Why will he even think of divorcing her because of salt?

Why should condiments like salt be a loophole? You are failing to understand that she is human and may have forgotten to buy or maybe the one remaining was used a day before. Personally, I draft a budget on expenditure before going to the market and that is because I know that I am bound to forget and/or see other things that are important but not budgeted for so would end up having a deficit.

Pay no heed to the egoistic fella. Quoting 6 figures as if it's big deal. There are men that drop more, but you can never see them insult their wives likes this. It's indeed a shame.

Some women don't enjoy cooking when it is for themselves. They enjoy doing it for family. Now that you're home she'll transform that kitchen.

By the way she is not your staff. There is nothing like incompetence in marriage. If she's incompetent it means you're also incompetent for not spotting her incompetence before 'employing' her.

By the way don't 'fire' her as the next one you 'hire' might learn from your action and show you pepper.
