Morocco gets Africa’s first high-speed train. It’s the fastest line in Africa.

The new trains are made by manufacturer Alstom and can reach speeds of 200 miles per hour.

They will cut the journey time between the two cities by more than half to just over two hours. This is double the speed of South Africa’s Gautrain, launched in 2012, which falls short of the criteria for high-speed rail.

The $2 billion project has been in development for a decade, funded by the governments of Morocco, France, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE.

King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan government expect the trains to deliver wealth and prestige for the country. But opponents claim they are an expensive folly.

These high-speed trains are flashing along the Atlantic coast of Morocco.

In Nigeria this 2.5 billion dollars will be for feasibility study alone, while the rail itself will take up to 15billion dollars.

Morocco and its Arab neighbours shouldn't be in Africa.. but what would they do?
this is a country that works and see development as a priority to growth and economic prosperity... we are still purchasing locomotives trains in this age... the brains of our leaders should be examined... analog brains I must say...

Giant of Africa my left ball.

The only giant we have is long useless goro chewing fulani herdsman.

Very useless human being.

They blamed gej and dasuki for squandering millions of dollars on security.

Bubu asked for a billion dollars to procure arms, he went to buy inferior arms that is not even up to a million dollars.

Who's the bigger thief here?

South Africa new minimum wage is 126,700
Many governors are not even still paying the 18k minimum wage.
In some states in this country, many new graduates on government payroll collect less than 30k a month.

To add salt to injury, many of them have refused to sign the 30k minimum wage. They claim they can't afford it and they want state police?
How will they fund that? They want state police so that they can easily intimidate their opponents.

E no go better for all of them.

And e no go better for anybody wey vote for this bastards again.
