If PDP in their 16years had made such purchases would we be discussing this today? The jets would take 5 years to deliver while PDP ruled for 16 years. Stalwert: Yes, buhari planned for tomorrow for bokoharam. That's is why he was part of the team that frustrated GEJs efforts when bokoharam started attack in the early days. Creating space for them to grow out of control. Today he paid for jets Nigerian soldiers won't use till he leaves. Seems like he made a promise to bokoharam that the Jet will never reach the army as long as he was in charge. |

The kind of insurgency we are facing would take years to end especially since GEJ and PDP failed to tackle it when it was still fresh. The best we can do is to downgrade boko haram to start using guerrilla tactics which is what they have started using now. They will still be around until 2024 and the reason why Buhari went to Chad to meet with other heads of state is so a combined front can be used against boko haram and further degrade them since its now evident they are coming through the chad basin due to its receding waters.
