Agbonyibo is probably using snake venom or animal bites to treat whatever problem or afflictions his customers might be suffering from. Irikefe to meet Evae and the renewed necklace might make a difference. Mama to slip up this week and Akunna to finally administer the much anticipated smackdown./Or mama now knows Agbon's secret which she might use ad a bargaining chip..... Chisco to move in with Nurse Jo. None of these to happen in the next update as Emeritus Writer Centino is full of tricks.. 2 Likes |

If you only tune in on Sundays, do well to go to page 123 for a rare midweek update so that you will be in tune with us. Happy Sunday folks. And a big shout out to the ghost readers who have suddenly multiplied in recent weeks. Agbonyibo is watching you for me from the rooftop FAMILY AND FRIENDS Josephine selected a pair of jeans and tshirt, got dressed and marched to Achike’s room. Achike was in bed, trepidation etched on his face. She knocked and pushed the door open and entered. “What do you want?” Achike said. “What did you do to Chisco?” “What did I do to Chisco?” “Yes, what did you do to him?” “How is that any of your business?” “It is my business. He was last with me!” “Oh, he was last with you. Okay, now he can be first with you if he likes.” “You’re a mean hearted man Achike. How could you?” “I have made it easy for the two of you. I thought you came here to thank me.” “You are despicable. Your own blood brother. Because of a woman, you throw him out on the streets?” “Which street? I made it easier for the two of you. Now you can take your time and destroy his life. But first, come and pay his bride price.” “You are a big fool.” “Don’t come here and insult me. Ashawo ten kobo.” “It is your mother that is ashawo twenty kobo.” “Take good care of him. I will call my people in the village and tell them of his achievement.” “He is not with me. He refused to stay with me. Chisco is a man. A real man with honour and pride. That is why I fvcked him and not you.” “I have heard. Fvcker of the year. Is that not the only thing you are good for? Your mates are married with five children. You are here sharing your nyash to every Tom, Dick and Wasiu. You should go to AIT and start a reality show titled the nyash of Josephine challenge. If it is men you want you cannot even attract good ones. That thing that is scratching you will not allow you. All you need is to see preek and you have left your door open. Don’t forget to leave it open tonight because your new lover will come back. He will not go very far because he does not know anybody in Lagos.” “You think I’m easy? Then why did I not let you?” “Me? Tufiakwa! I cannot put my thing in that public latrine.” “You are a bitter man Achike. You are worse than a woman. Chisco holds you in high esteem. He would never do this to you. But you allow yourself to be blinded by jealousy and you put your brother at risk. How will you feel if they killed him or maimed him or even frame him up for what he did not do. I know this town. You cannot be homeless and safe.” “Bia, Nurse, or whatever you call yourself. Biko, get out of my room. Don’t come and tell me what to do or what not to do. If anything happens to that boy you share the bame. You distracted him. He was supposed to live here humbly and serve me then I will settle him. But you came along and used your nyash to destroy his life. Don’t come and try to pass the blame. I had a plan for him which you destroyed. I am a disciplined man.” “You are a loser. No wonder you are still alone at your age. No woman can stay with a man like you. I leave you with your conscience.” “And I also leave you with your conscience. No man enters you and has a life afterward. Wasiu and now Chisco. Go and find another victim. Papa Efe’s son is ripe enough. He is your type.” Josephine stormed out of Achike’s room and nearly fell over Irikefe who had been by the door listening the whole time. “Bros Freke. Na wetin dey happen be that o!” “You don’t say. Achike threw his brother out out of jealousy?” “I tell you.” “And the nurse would not take him in?” “He is too proud I gather. He’d rather sleep under the bridge than move in with a woman.” “Remarkable. The council of elders should come in here.” “Leave those useless old men. You will see now, the day it comes up they will leave the matter of his homelessness and will be asking how many rounds he hammered the nurse.” “Don’t talk like that Irikefe.” “Those men?” “I feel sorry for Chisco. I like the guy. I can even see why the nurse was attracted to him.” “Bros leave that thing. Which attraction? Nurse Jo being a nurse has been able to look at him and deduced the size of his dick and then choose him. You know how village boys can gather the thing.” “I don’t think so. Remember he saved her from Wasiu.” “Save what? Was Wasiu going to kill her? Is it not fvck he was going to fvck her? Fvck she was prepared for? Chisco ruined her night that night and now that Wasiu is no longer here she has used him as a replacement, which was the whole point of his bravado in the first place.” “Come on Irikefe.” “Bros Freke na wa for you o! Did she not also come on to you? Is it the virgin Mary that we are discussing here?” “For some reason, I cannot judge her. Josephine is a nice girl. I really think so.” “Why will you not think so when you have Maya. What you should say is that you just don’t give a fvck about the whole thing.” Ndifreke laughed and regarded Irikefe. This was why he wouldn’t leave Katakata street just yet. These characters. “The nonsense Achike had the mouth to mention my name. I will deal with that man in this compound.” “He paid you a compliment if anything. He reckons you can succeed where he failed.” Irikefe thought about it and smiled. “But bros no be lie o. I’m seven inches down there remember?” He said with a wink. “Are you fancying yourself already? What about Evae?” “That’s a no go area bros.” “How?” “My dad figured it out somehow and warned me to steer clear. I have never seen Papa Efe so serious.” “I don’t understand.” “He worked it out somehow that I was interested in Evae. Papa Efe had never shown any concern over anything I have done in this compound with girls. But the moment he sniffed my interest in Evae he changed to a tiger. He would throw me out of his house for good if I did it.” “Well, what an adult sees sitting down, a child cannot see standing up.” “I have heard. Undertaker junior.” “I am with your dad on that. At least let us wait and study them. She may not be worth the trouble for all you know.” “Bros Freke. What do you want to study again? Have you not seen her waist? Her front and back? Even Nurse Jo will be intimidated by Evae and even her mum. Sometimes I think I should have gone for her mother instead.” “That would have been your death. Somebody’s wife and mother.” “I have seen her eyes bros. I am even afraid to accept it. I greeted her and called her Mama Evae. Her eyes softened and she said 'call me Eyonyam'. We were alone in the backyard. I hurried away because I was confused at the time.” “Your imagination is wild Irikefe. Surely not her mother. I thought you were into deflowering pre-puberty girls.” “I am now into women. I have grown up. We could have a party. It looks a real possibility.” “Okay. Enough. Not another word on it please.” “Alright bros. I won’t do it. For once I know not to disobey Papa Efe.” “Good for you.” “You are the luckiest man on earth. You have Maya. There is still no one as beautiful as she. And you have become supermodels overnight.” “My brother, na God.” “So you said you were angry at the man and nearly slapped him and next thing he offers you a modeling contract? Like, for real?” “Stuff of Hollywood but it is true. We have a two-year contract in our back pocket plus fixed monthly remuneration.” “Ehen! God is good o!” So how much are we talking about?” “Taa! How do you expect me to tell you that?” “Okay bros I understand. Thank God for your life o!” “Like Maya said, it is our turn to shine. When your turn comes, no Jupiter can stop you. I have realized that all that while I was suffering at the wharf and driving keke that it was not yet my time. When your time comes, you don’t have to do anything extraordinary. You don’t need effort or brain or even wisdom. Heaven just opens. In my case it was even jealousy that did it for me.” “Chai, Na true o. And some people will be blaming witchcraft for their misfortune.” “That is pure ignorance. God’s time is the best.” “You are right bros.” Irikefe regarded Ndifreke. He was wearing original Tommy Hilfiger lounge tshirt and shorts. It was not even two weeks and he already looked different. “Bros, there is something I was thinking.” “Tell me.” “I am thinking of starting something on the side. If I just have two hundred thousand naira I will be able to do something that will be bringing me money on a daily basis.” “Why do you need money on a daily basis?” “Come on bros. Big boy like me, my mates are already millionaires. It is just lack of capital that has kept me like this.” “Lack of capital?” “Yes bros. Lack of capital.” “What business do you need capital for?” “Buying and selling. I can be going to the wharf when they open container I will buy tokunbo electronics and come and be selling. In no distant time, I will even be importing my own.” “I see.” “Bros, lend me the 200k. I will pay you back.” “So what happens to your carpentry?” “Bros you know it has been a joke all along na. I am only doing it so that Papa Efe would not throw me out of his house. My dream has always been to start this electronic business.” “I get you irikefe. But I don’t have 200k to lend you.” “Bros no talk like that na. See your clothes, see your skin. You just said you signed a contract.” “I did but the money is out of my reach now.” “So when can I have it?’ “I can’t promise you anything Irikefe,” Ndifreke said and stood. “Let me go inside. Mkpoikanna was preparing breakfast.” “So nothing for your guy ehn? You went and enjoyed yourself in a five-star hotel and yet nothing for your boy?” Ndifreke put his hand in his hip pocket and produced two thousand naira. “Hold this one.” “Bros Freke! Thank you my man. God will bless you and ensure that Mr Jonjo gives you a ten year contract.” “Amen,” Ndifreke said and walked into the compound. Mkpoikanna was already eating when he got to the room. “Da owo! You finished cooking and you didn’t call me?” “Call you? I no know say you go want to eat.” “Why will I not want to eat brother?” “Na poor man food be this. No be this type you dey eat now.” “Mkpoikanna it is indomie and egg. I have eaten indomie and egg almost every day since I came to this house.” “That na before. Now you don turn to oyinbo.” “What are you saying brother?” Mkpoikanna did not reply but concentrated on his food like it was his final graduation exam and the invigilator had just said ten minutes more. “Did you wash the pot you used to cook it?” “No.” “Alright. I’ll go and cook mine.” “The indomie is finished.” “I’ll go and buy.” “Better do.” Mama Tobi threw her wrapper away and gyrated in only her underskirt as Maya watched and laughed. “I said it! I knew it! I always knew that all you needed was to leave this Katakata street and go out and your life would change. You are a child that God has blessed. That is why I was feeling bad all that time. Right from when you were in the womb they gave me a vision about you. They said you would become a wonderful child that will bring blessings to this family. That is why I felt so bad when you wasted your life with that Calabar boy that had nothing to offer.” “Mama he is part of my success story.” “He is not part of your success story. He is using you.” “Maama!” “He is. Are you not the one that first went out? Is it not my cousin that gave you the connection? If not for you would this have happened?” “Mama that is how it was meant to be. Our destinies are tied together.” “God forbid. Your destiny is not tied to that of anybody.” “Mama I love Ndifreke. He is everything to me. And I am happy that our success has happened as it happened. There is no me without him and vice versa.” Mama Toby raised her hand in supplication mode and said “My God! What has that boy done to my daughter?" “Mama it’s enough. At least we both earned the money so it is alright.” “Are you saying you are keeping the money together?” “Yes Mama. He is investing our sign on fees. We will do as we wish with our monthly income but he advises that I save a lot.” “How much did you say was the sign on fee?” “One million naira each.” “And you gave it to him to invest.” “Yes mama.” “You are a fool.” “Mama!” “Receive sense in Jesus name.” “Mama I trust him.” “Shut up! Trust who?” “Mama.” “Don’t mama me. If you gave that money to me I know what I would have done with it.” “Give the money to you?” “Yes give the money to me. Why wouldn’t you give it to me? Who in this world will best have your interest at heart? I carried you in this my womb for nine months. I almost died when I wanted to give birth to you because you were coming out leg first. This your long legs that you are using to make money now almost killed me!" “Mama!” “Don’t mama me again. You have hurt me my daughter. To think that you can trust a stranger more than me.” “Mama Ndi is not a stranger. He loves me.” “Shut up your mouth. I say shut up your mouth there. What do you know about love? Go to that boy and tell him to give you your money.” “Mama.” “If you don’t do it, I will ask you to leave my house. I will come out and face the sun slap this breasts that you sucked and it will not be well with you in this thing you have started.” “Mama you are going too far.” Mama Tobi then softened her tone and pulled her stool closer to Maya. “Now listen to me my daughter. I am your mother. I will never see evil coming your way and keep quiet. You are only a child and do not understand the world. Now that you are just starting life, let me give you a piece of advice that you will need for the rest of your life. Never trust men. No matter what you do, never trust a man. Don’t trust him with money, and don’t trust him with another woman. You see this boy, now that he has money, you will see his real colours. If you are not careful, he will also use your money and carry other women.” “Ndi cannot do that to me.” Mama Tobi glared at Maya and she said “Sorry mama.” “He does not have to be like that. It may not even be his intention. But now that he is successful, they will come after him. Those ones they call slay queens, they will try and slay him. If you give him your heart, don’t give him your money as well so that you do not lose everything. I have told you the truth with love. The love of a mother.” Maya heaved a heavy sigh. She was having a headache all of a sudden. “Collect your money from him and give it to me. I am your mother. I will not do you bad.” “But mama…” Mama Tobi glared at her again and she dropped her gaze. “Okay. I will speak with him.” “That’s my girl. Come and give your mummy a hug.” Irikefe listened for his father’s snoring and sure enough, it began. He waited for another fifteen minutes and when he was convinced that his father was dead to the world he found his Vaseline and brought out his p*nis and applied the Vaseline to it and began to knead. He thought about Evae in that bathroom, and then Josephine. As he stroked himself he thought about both women and then settled for a party with both of them on his mind. While he thrusted in and out of Evae, Josephine was stroking his balls at the same time. As he stroked himself to the image he created in his mind, a thought occurred to him. Why would he be masturbating when he could very well be doing the real thing with Josephine? He remembered her quarrel with Achike. He had mentioned her leaving her door open for Chisco. That was something Josephine could do because Chisco truly had nowhere to stay and would be tempted to return to the nurse. If he was lucky, he could slip inside the room before Chisco came. All he needed to do was to show her his dick and she would surely be impressed and let him. Then with a little difficulty, he put on his jeans and quietly opened the door and stole out of the room. He could hear the familiar sounds of the night at Katakata Street. Angry generators from afar and coughing or sleep talk from the rooms he passed. He climbed the stairs and tiptoed towards Josephine’s room. he held the door handle and first listened and then turned it. The door did not budge. He listened again and it was quiet. He thought about knocking and if she came to the door he would just kneel and beg her. He so wanted a woman at that moment that he could do anything. Then all of a sudden he felt a presence. The hair on the back of his neck stood as he turned. Standing in front of him wearing only a thong was Evae. TO BE CONTINUED. 36 Likes 2 Shares |
