Mourinho's style of play will only work with very experienced set of players. His defenders should be saome of the best in the world individually like he had in Terry, Cole, etc. His midfielders difficult to beat, tough and experienced, like Makalele, Essien, Ballack, etc. Unfortunately, United current players are not like that and it will take him many more transfer windows to assemble such a team similar to what he had in Chelsea or Inter Milan.

In United there is also not a super man. Martial's performance drops as he gets more playing time. It has happened every season. Perhaps, it works for him when he is very fresh. He will need to toughen himself more with training. He currently looks more like a blues singer/artiste than an athlete.

My thoughts as well but some people have had enough of Mourinho that they wouldn't mind to go back to Moyes buahahaha

I agree that with LVG, we could see that they trained during the week but right now, there's no evidence to show that these players do train weekly. No difference between them and those that gather on Saturday and Sunday morning or evening to play street ball weekly

It's getting worse. We played better last season. Currently, we go into first half with no plan except to play 9 men behind the ball when we lose it. So it end up like we are parking the bus even against Kano Pillars. Half time Mourinho goes to make adjustments. It has been working that we play well in the second half. But yesterday, first half and send half were pattern-less

there’s nothing special about Mou, Zidane did a back to back UCl with a kind of style you described. Almost any manger would be bagging trophies with that kinda team.

I said it last season that our 2nd position was a false dawn. We were never in a title race at any point despite finishing 2nd. We were just fortunate the others hadnt got their acts together. These signs were there last season. They were just masked well.
