itchie:The fact that it's everywhere does not mean it has to be condoned anywhere. Below is Temple1288's post. Temple1288:Does the "entire south", not imply 'more than in other part of America'? Lynching, today at least, sounds like a grave exageration, but it signifies much more than "not worse than the other", especially if you were the one being discriminated against. Except if those telling you they are hurting are just lying, in your opinion? I wrote on the if Trump had said what Hillary had said when she first said it. When some imagine Trump saying what she said, they see him on a campaign platform and the words they hear are "Who cares? Lock em up!" It's the perception some have of him. Be they right or not. Context, of the historical type included, is what allowed her to get away with it while he wouldn't. 1 Like 1 Share |

itchie: Thanks for the article but I thought you read the 1900 pages document instead of articles I could have googled myself. I seem to have misunderstood you. My bad. You are right, USMCA is an upgrade to NAFTA but the name is the biggest adjustment that has been made. 90% of NAFTA remain the same. I like that Trump is targeting low-pay production for many reasons and I hope everyone is aware that it will drive consumer prices up. 2 Likes |

Alectrona11:Do you have to read 1900 pages of a document before grasping the basics about it when there are a thousand and one summaries of what it contains out there? Your friend Abbeybailey couldn't even make use of the numerous search engines around to get the simplest of the summaries to educate himself on the contents of the USMCA, it was too much work for him . On to more serious issues; 1. Better pay for workers doesn't automatically translate to higher consumer prices, you forget that the tariff reliefs that are granted companies who agree to produce in the US and get their product's components from the US is meant to create a balance for the finances of those companies so they can actually afford to pay higher wages without necessarily having to increase the prices of their end products. 2. Trump is not targeting low pay production for any negative reasons, he simply wants better wages and more jobs for American citizens 10 Likes 4 Shares |

Alectrona11:You know I just reread this your post and I seemed to have missed out on the bolded parts when I first read it. Let me just advise you my dear, don't be a lucasbaboon. If you don't know who or what a lucasbaboon is, it means an illogical, irrational, perpetually angry and unrepentant liar who is more interested in peddling falsehood and propaganda rather than make fact based argument. I don't believe you are like lucasbaboon, let's stick to the verifiable facts and not allow our emotions and sentiments make us throw out spurious and ridiculous claims like the irrational lucasbaboon is wont to do. Looking forward to having more fact based, educating and enlightening exchanges with you 10 Likes 4 Shares |

BraniacX:Don't mind that cave hunter. The Mod is definitely in their corner and i wonder why. The hungry piece of human Basura named itchie and his N30.000 gang will haul insults all day by calling their parents who lives in the jungle baboons and the daft Mod would never see anything wrong with it but if you or I reply them, the Mod will be on our case. To me, Nairaland is a labor of love. Back to the Orange a*s lickers, not single one of these losers could carry my jockstrap on their best day . Imagine bunch of worthless underachievers with no jobs in a country where an average citizen earns less than $1.50 a day so fixated about America ? You wonder why success is far from them. Some of them would post their garbage 3am or 4am Nigerian time. Who does that if not worthless poverty cursed piece of human Basura. Yours truly will be on my way to Nigeria in about three weeks and i dare any of these hungry Americanna wannabe to hook up with me so they can tell me how gutsy they are in real life to spout the garbage to my face. It's an open challenge to any of the Uncle Tom's. They are only good on an anonymous forum spouting their garbage. Bunch of okrika wearing underachievers in life that are fixated on a country they can't even obtain a visa to. 2 Likes |

itchie: Which better deal has trump ever negotiated? Is it North Korea, is it with China or even NAFTA? Trump always put the US in a worse position after his so called negotiations. North Korea is in a stronger position after the Singapore summit with all its nuclear arsenals intact, US is in a far worse position before the trade war (although the trade war is hurting China also ), and take it from me China will never back down. 6 Likes 1 Share |

In 2000 the simpsons predicted the trump presidency and also predicted trump leaving the US broke. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXcYMvzZ7jk This prophesy seems to becoming fulfilled as trump has expanded the US budget deficit and at the same time reduced corporate tax while fighting a trade war with China. https://www.google.com.ng/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjoodH53ITfAhXGyIUKHfjjDbIQzPwBegQIARAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nytimes.com%2F2018%2F07%2F25%2Fbusiness%2Ftrump-corporate-tax-cut-deficit.html&psig=AOvVaw2AnDPyEwG_-jySIIDYqVSJ&ust=1543963115508196 3 Likes |

DC, Md. officials ready with subpoenas in Trump hotel case https://apnews.com/96a295d90acf449dbf41f6fee4c28d63 WASHINGTON (AP) — The attorneys general of the District of Columbia and Maryland said Monday that they are moving forward with subpoenas for records in their case accusing President Donald Trump of profiting off the presidency. U.S. District Court Judge Peter J. Messitte approved the legal discovery schedule in an order Monday. Such information would likely provide the first clear picture of the finances of Trump’s Washington, D.C., hotel. Trump’s Justice Department lawyers filed a notice to the court Friday that appeared to challenge the Maryland judge’s decision to allow the case to move forward. The president’s notice that he may seek a writ of mandamus — to have the appeal heard by a higher court — is considered an “extraordinary remedy” that’s hard to prove and partly rests on showing Messitte’s decisions to be clearly wrong. The Justice Department declined to comment. “We’ve got the discovery ready to go,” said Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh. “Their objective at this point is just to keep the doors shut, they don’t want any of this information out in public and they don’t want our case to move forward. So they’re going to be be obstructing as much as they can.” District of Columbia Attorney General Karl A. Racine said in a statement that the subpoenas would go out to third-party organizations and federal agencies “to gather the necessary evidence to prove that President Trump is violating the Constitution’s emoluments clauses — our nation’s original anti-corruption laws.” Trump has been fighting multiple lawsuits that argue foreign representatives’ spending money at the Trump International Hotel are violations of the Constitution’s emoluments clause, which bans federal officials from accepting benefits from foreign or state governments without congressional approval. 2 Likes |

The USS John C Stennis and support ships will arrive off the coast of Iran by the end of the week marking the first such US military presence in the area for eight months. The move comes after Tehran launched a new destroyer, the Sahand, and warned President Trump against continued US sanctions. |
