jflexy:Do you have graphic design skills? I will advice you start working on them cos most social media jobs are now tied to graphic design. If you cant do Photoshop or Corel , start with canva.com. make some awesome designs and add it to a portfolio. Package your CV as a social media and graphics person. And start applying.
