Wanted to try out Auto Investment and Importation of used vehicles from USA.

Got a good deal to land a 2012 Venza at about 2.9 million excluding clearing costs.

So I contacted a clearing agent and he quoted 1.5M to clear the car. So my Total cost was

2.9M (landing cost) + 1.5M (clearing cost) = 4.4M

I planned on selling the Venza for 5M as it was very clean.

Lo and Behold! The clearing agent absconded with my Money 2 weeks after payment. I went to his house and they told me he is dead.

I got his Father arrested and his family came to bail him out with money and they also came with “proofs” showing their son is dead. An obituary poster, death certificate and picture of him inside coffin.

I’m not a fool, I knew everything was staged and forged.

But with the “documents” they provided, the police told me to forget about the case.

Na so my money enter voice mail.

After police don collect bribe, chop and clean mouth.

The clearing agent now maybe in another state or he might have used my money to travel out, but I believe deep down in my mind that one day, I will catch him again and he would be killed at the spot, since he has already faked his death.

By the way, his number rang few months ago.

Being the entrepreneurship person that I was, I set out to give it a try.

Left my base in Ilorin to try it out.

Long story cut short.. I invested about 160k into it. Lost about 54k

But I'm unbothered tho, I'm still giving it two more shots next month before giving up on it.

I'm attaching a screenshot to summarise everything I spent.

Note I didn't include my transport, cus I was driving my car myself and it was some sort of tourism to me.

Lesson learnt,
Never test a business based on what people say and don't try any business with money you can't comfortably lose (I learnt the last part from cryptocurrency)

Lost 750k to Ethereum in January
Invested 350k in altcoins in January and had to sell off in September for 46k after HODLing thinking it'll yeast.
Lost another 1.6m to gift cards in September.
Coupled with occasional 100k, 150k, 50k loses throughout the year

All in all, I still don't think I lost anything significant.. I just feel I got more experienced.

For anyone trying to venture into crypto currency is at this time. I advise you just invest your money somewhere else Sha.. the good ol days are over..

Its actually a very tricky business that involves alot of regulations and monitoring.....people pay according to their consumption... Its from 3k a month to 5k... 17,hrs daily.... I bought a device from China that we set after we had checked what you intend to use once you plug more than you paid your light trips off

I've had numerous losses, I'm going to talk about the one I've tried to excel anyway.

I started goat production business 6 years ago with only theory knowledge no experience. I bought 45 red sokoto breed of goats and started feeding them without experience and professional to guide me through, I did online research about goat production business prospect and I got crazy information from online farmers who never owned livestock and couple with the fact I'm an animal scientist which I felt I'm good to go that was the greatest deceit I deed to my self.

To cut the story short I lost all the goats due to wrong management, diseases and worms and lack of good information. I lost over 700k Naira which include goat cost, so called consultant fees, feed and medications.

Note: I now have vast experience in goat farming with over 200+ matured female goats, over 80 bucks and plenty of kids too in my farm. I didn't give up and thank God for the support I got from my wife.

Never venture into a business without practical experience.
Don't be carried away by online bloggers who write crazy stuff about ROI

Zainab's big yanch : This girl is the king of manipulation. She was highly religious that I thought she can't scam me. She manipulated me very well and scammed me of over 250k from so called dating and felt no remorse when the bubble burst .she was so good at it that devil gave her a medal.

That's sadly the definition of majority girls in Nigeria now.... Very selfish , self centered and manipulative.
