APC chieftain, thousands of supporters decamp to PDP

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kebbi State, Alhaji Muatapha Asaija, has dumped the party, the business mogul defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state along with thousands of his supporters.

The aggrieved former member of the APC, said his defection was due to the discrepancies in the last primaries.

Asaija was received by the PDP state executive and governorship candidate of the party.
He claimed that APC was not fair to him during the party’s primaries.

“They were not fair to me during the just concluded primary elections. It was not free, fair and transparent.
So, that compelled me to move out from the party with my supporters”, he said.

Speaking, the governorship candidate of the PDP in the state, Sen. Isah Galaudu, expressed satisfaction over the defection of Asaija, describing him as a very influential person in the area.

In the words of Galaudu, “We are relying on God for total victory. If the people of the state elected us.”
“I will empower farmers and I will never cheat anybody in terms of the disbursement. We shall pay pensioners their entitlements without any delay,” he said.

Fuuny enough. Kebbi is Northwest, and you know what that means.

If not that people have just decided to be sentimental, it's very obvious that the APC has under performed, in fact I should say that they are a failure.

I'm from the north, Borno state to be precise,and stay in Kano, but I don't believe in following blindly, like sheeps do,even my father that voted for APC is regretting and insulting them at the slightest opportunity he gets, he complains of how their company and job security has been shaky ever since the inception of this regime.

Those who praise him can't even state clearly what he has done since coming to power.
Even the security they were using to make mouth is clear now that the issue was never solved.
In his reign Fulani herders are taking more lives than they have ever been able to do, and you tell me we now have security!
