The journey of getting the job was filled with lots of events, persistence, dedication, rejections & disappointments, discrimination, WORK & Prayer... but I'm sure you don't want to hear all that, so lemme simply put it this way, I searched on job portals, applied, interviewed and got the job.

Useful sites:

xing.com (This was where I got my job)

linkedin.com

Please, can you tell how you were able to get the job because am considering applying for the German job seeker visa soon.

Who here has applied for masters in chemical engineering at ulm University, if so was a letter of English as language of instruction from your undergrad university sufficient for English proficiency? Do I need to notarize my documents before sending by regular mail?

Good day house.
I want to ask if going to the embassy for my interview with certified copies is wrong..I have many certified copies of my documents which i no longer need because admission has dropped..Must it be ordinary photocopies?

Hello All. Good luck to all those applying for summer and awaiting admission decisions. I am applying for the winter semester to Bonn, FU Berlin, Bremen and Uni Koln For Sociology/Anthropology. I have already connected with two wonderful people from here and we are helping each other out in ways we can so far. If there are any other persons applying to these schools and studied sociology/Anthropology kindly PM me so we could rub minds together and share ideas and solutions.
Danke!

Hi,

would you mind sending me a link to the declaration page? Can't seem to find it, secondly does one have to fund the account completely before the interview date? thanks.

Let it go Man, the more you keep trying to justify your actions, the more you are displaying your pride and arrogance, what is actually wrong with him advising you to take out some time to go through the thread to find answers, you are so busy to do that but you had all the time to type all these long jargons, abeg quit clogging the thread, we are all here to learn. Danke

Point of correction, I wasn't even the guy that asked the question but I have an issue with people bullying people on forums like this. Everyone should be allowed to express himself, ask his questions and even make his contributions, without being bullied by folks like u.

If u know we ar here to learn as u said, then when someone asks questions u answer the person if u want and if u don't want to, u just ignore and not for u to turn around to talk all sorts of rubbish and accuse the person of being proud and even telling him how he will fall if he doesn't take heed. What's the need for all that? Ar u on a personal vendetta against the person or what?

Young man, that's the act of bullying and I condemn it, if u aren't ok with my comments then u can always go to hell and not to mention me.

Have a nice day.

According to the checklist, this is what was stated there

Every applicant is asked to provide the following mandatory documents (original + 2 copies of each document, unless otherwise specified) after having booked an appointment via our website www.nigeria.diplo.de:

Meaning that you take your Original documents along with 2 photocopies. since you'll be taking your Original documents along, you won't be needing certified copies. so just make ordinary photocopies and take along!

I hope this helps!

For more information, please read the checklist document!

These German Embassy guys are crazy...lol
They add appointment date at exactly 12:00 a.m and it doesn't even stay up to 30 seconds and it's gone. Noticed it yesterday, confirmed it today. So if you really need a date, you should be really fast. Keep refreshing every second from 11:59 p.m

Good luck!

if it's the declaration form for your interview, there you go! https://nigeria.diplo.de/blob/1505570/549352489fc88dfdbbd7b307af0f58b4/belehrung-data.pdf

And for your second question!
No, you don't have to fund your account completely before your interview date, but then you have to fund it quickly after your interview so that it won't delay your visa

I hope this helps

All this best

Good Morning Great Ppl, please I am a newbie here, I just started this process and at the stage of document submission to Uni-assist, I discovered that there is discrepancies in the date of birth on my international passport and the date of birth on my transcript, I am scared that this could pose a serious problem because its up to 4yrs difference, I deliberately used a younger age to apply for the int passport at the time owing to a job appointment which I later got. Guys please I need advice here, how much challenge will this pose? will an affidavit suffice? has anyone had a similar challenge

Your international passport is always regarded as a very important document! The information on your passport is meant to be the same information on your other documents!

I really don't think you should have changed your age (ESPECIALLY ON YOUR PASSPORT) because you'll always need your passport for other important documentation! Your age is one of the information that will ALWAYS be checked in your documents! Getting another passport in Nigeria is quite difficult so my advice is you better get an affidavit from the court showing the same age on your passport because it might pose to be a very serious problem for you in the future!

Moreover, I hope you know that after applying for your visa, your age will be calculated according to your educational background. Meaning that your age will be calculated from the day you were born, through primary to the University so if something is wrong somewhere, it might serve as a problem!

And if it turns out that your age is not the same with your other documents for e.g Waec then you might have to apply for another passport because sincerely how many affidavits do you want to get? and I don't even know how you want to change the age on your transcript!!! (You can try the affidavit option but put it in mind that you'll be taking a risk)

This is my own opinion and I really hope this helps

All the best!
