The double matting is only on a portion of the decking which has a very wide span. The area is also planned to have internal walls as additional loads in some of the space.
I also ensured I separated the top and bottom layers with a separator.

I have seen a situation where the rods in the column concrete casting extends 5inch out of the German floor. Please how do you remedy such a situation considering that the minimum length is 1 foot. Won't it be difficult to tie in the rod for the block wall casting.

Lap length of rods is supposed to be at least 1 meter. If only 5 inches show, maybe you insert rods to lap on the short rods before the next continuous reinforcement.

No. We can commence work in 3 days after the cast, provided we don't remove the supports under the decking.

We are right now pumping water on top of this drying decking, this is to help the curing process. More water is expected to be sprayed on the deck tomorrow.
