ozumba_CCIE a fresh graduate got a job recently in AWS newly opened branch in capetown.paid as an expertrate.



all those list listed there are mostly for managers already earning fat just like project management certsbut a fresh graduate with CCIE will negotiate 500k for salary and still get paid.

Like how much should one budget for this CCIE, since it's this lucrative.

Leave them to be pushing rubbish around. Azure,
office 365, Cloud computing, cyber security. Any certifications around these are hot cakes as of now and for the next 10 years.

Wonderful courses i must say, just that i know some guys at Alaba and Ladipo that earn thrice what these Cert holders earn in a month. Even with my Mini importation, i am gradually closing up.

where do u put full stack, Software engineering, networking, analytics, data science, AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc

In this day and age, you dont need to have a CCIE to design a highly available and fault tolerant network environment on a cloud infrastructure. CCIE is a passing fad, cloud has taken over. Kubernetes and docker containers' skills are currently in vogue

CEH is one of the most useless certs. The best Pen Test certifications are the GIAC and OSCP certs

nice post bro, but for someone like me with a degree in Economics, can i still try to learn one, considering the fact that the I.T vacancies i see almost always require a first degree in computer science.
also, in your post, you said you are listing in ascending order but you started from number 10, i dont mean to be offensive but i am confused. anyway, is no 10 the most lucrative or number one?

Amazon will still ask for CCIE RandS before they land you a big role... Seriously u dont need CCIE to plan and implement big network,, but its always a passport for bigger jobs.. I'm writing mine in March sha

I am working with devops guy everyday, I have not met anyone with even a CCNA. These guys are well versed in what they do. You will get a better ROI knowledgeable about Linux variants.

i work in an ISP.. My boss does not have CCNA... and he's very good.. but have never seen any of our job advert without requesting for certification
