Kindly be informed that the S10 is not a Nigeria version Gionee phone.... We have not launched this model yet in Nigeria and as such are yet to get the part. It will interest you to know that our warranty do not cover such device.

complained to Gionee outlet in my area and was asked to bring the phone since it is still under warranty. Its been 3 weeks i submitted the phone now and no news yet.

iam using gionee gn5001s london use iam having this problem of charging sometimes it will charge and sometimes it will , and even when it is charging it use to take almost 8to 10 hrs before its charge pls is there any solution to it

1. The TouchPad malfunction as I am typing or using the phone it will cease to respond until I press the power button before I can continue even when call come in it may hang till I press the power button. I toll it to Gionee cc here in Uyo they say it's screen, the collet the phone and send it to Lagos after three weeks I went there I was told there is no screen and that they will call me when it's available but till now no call or what's so ever..

2. The battery is something else when it drops to 20% the phone shuts down on it own in less than 5 minutes.

It's so so frustrating to spend good money and buy a phone only to start having issues
I bought the phone direct new receipt and pack intact, the phone is still under warranty.

when will Gionee M5 users everly receive a common update like Marshmallows 6.0 talk less of Nougat 7.0 or the latest version
or is it that Gionee M5 is too cheap that it should be release and never consider about any update

i know gionee has release numerous latest phones with all those update but there should at least fix bugs in M5
