Thanks for the correction,

There are insinuations also that a presidential Lodge is under construction, how true is that, and is it really a priority at this point in time?

Every city deserve a touch of class and elitism. Ugwuanyi has also propsed a presidential lodge as one of his legacy projects. Without the elite political class cities will become a jungle

How about icc building?
Empower industrial Park?

It is ongoing ok. Enugu railway is dilapidated old model locomotive rail that hasn't been in use for decades.

We are talking of standard gauge speed rail which which will run from lagos to Calabar with a spur at Onitsha.

Rail line will never spur and terminate in onitsha. The only thing that will bring rail to onitsha is Lagos - North East line which will pass through enugu just like the Lagos - calabar passed through aba making the only city in the east with rail connection to to North and West

Work is going on at ICC but I doubt how serious. Remove your mind from phantom industrial park. China is not father Christmas. Aba model of industrial park will work better than enugu. Enugu centenary city was better arranged than the industrial park that's why it's progressing

Worldclass X.Fit, Modern Fitness Center Opens in Awka

If everything goes as planned, X.Fit, the fitness wing of a truly modern Lifestyle and Fitness Centre will open in Awka on Wednesday next week.

The Center is a full-blown lifestyle and entertainment hub which has a gym, an event hall, a cinema, a night club, a swimming pool and other great offerings in one place.

The Center is located at Alex Ekwueme Square road in the heart of the city.

It is a worthy addition to the growing list of new businesses that are springing up across Anambra State as more and more indigenes respond to Governor Obiano's Akuluouno Philosophy which admonishes Ndigbo to never forget their homeland in their investment plan.

A group of fitness trainers known as 'Still Fit' are limbering up to give clients the very best in fitness training.

As much as most of these economic diplomatic handshake is geared towards creating economic wealth and downing vertical and horizontal inequality/disequilibrum, we got to make best of deals that would lead to better redistribution of wealth.

Some of these Chinese involvement could be inimical to indigenous craftsmanship. We should not let them usurp our indigenous hands.

They sometimes make deals that put them at a more advantageous position than the host. Causing a paradigm shift of channeling the means of production into their hands while they make a kill over here and repatriate over there, To our own detriment.

We should be wary of these deals,,

Our manpower needs clinical touches just like the sino-aba mechanized skill acquisition programs, that is more like a symbiotic deal, than just letting them in on taking over the sector, thereby rendering our artisans less productive.

At least a time frame should be allotted for the trained artisans who have a mastery of the automated skills to equally help transfer the skills to other manual artisans, that way there is gonna be a socio-economic upward multiplier effect which would in turn lead to the multiplicity in productivity,
What we gonna be looking out for is means to acquire more of the automated and mechanized machines, gadgets, tools and equipments,

The Electrification deal is the lifewire to ignite the flame, and like a tsunami will reverberate across board.

they say a good product equally markets itself, packaging, quality and durability, set standards shouldn't be compromised,
Outreach and marketing prospects, are needed to develop better means of advertisement.

I like how ikpeazu is the chief promoter of made in aba products, however much more better ways of instigating outreach is needed,

Access roads- many shops where cut in half to pave way for right of way, that's a huge sacrifice from the traders and artisans, distribution with ease will triple if the roads are in good shape, the osisioma flyover for example is taking forever, when the likes of umahi are working on multiple bridges, flyovers simultaneously within a same given period,

Waste to wealth initiative,
It's common sense that a commercial, industrial and bustling never center like aba gonna be producing tons of waste per second, this is an area where opportunities abound for recycling and proper waste management.

Technovation,
Contests and hackatons can be set up for pitching,

Start off fund seeds,
Inaccessibility to funds can frustrate, desuade, discourage and demotivate young Budding artisans, To this effect, many governmental financial /trade/industrial MDAs and NGOs can be of immense help, just as, has been with ford foundation, Dangote group, BOI, AFDI, USAID, etc there are myriads of such, where incubation funds can be sourced.

Taxation,
Apart from low disposable income, multiple Taxation have been a killer of many msme,
If people get to see value for their tax via provisions of basic social amenities and infrastructure, taxing them appropriately would be embraced.

True about the chinese influence, that's why the folks at ariaria kicked against the chinese shoe factory setting up shop in aba, which led to ikpeazu importing shoe making machines.
However, our people do not easily embrace change, that's why the chinese seems to take over. The era of every one being a boss (like in the ariaria shoe cluster) is over, industrialisation is about a highly specialised many, working for a few in management. We also have to make our local factories more public,or the end up not expanding or going comatose once the owner dies.Getting them to the public would inject funds too.
Ikpeazu is slow in his project execution, that's my only problem with him.The ex governors of the state so rubbished it,that contractors refuse to work on credit-umahi is something else though.

Here comes the financial expertise, advisory counsel,
Merger /joint ventureship / partnership

Business are going nuclear, so business empires don't crumble at the cenotaph of its starter.

Some Sole proprietorships still outlive the original owners,

It boils down to nurturing it's growth, management and flowing with the tides of its dynamism.

A skilled artisan needs a financial expert, Accountant, stock broker,

For me when it comes to roads, Ikpeazu ain't got no excuse.
