dru23:Not entirely correct...we have to hope for a better Nigeria..if everyone leaves, what will become of the country? Besides, if you struggle and eventually have things going on smoothly for you here...you would only visit foreign countries on vacations. It’s sad peeps have to brag about being in a foreign country. 16 Likes

Alvin007: It is not bragging bro. Trust me if you had the chance to leave ,am sure u will too. In order to have peace, you must have war ..Nigerians are not ready to die for that peace. With all the corruptions going on, churches and mosque , praying back and fourth.. ..still Nigeria no get head or tail ...until the youths are ready to lay down their life to fight for what is rite. Nigeria will never have peace.. You need war in order for peace ...it is a fact 2 Likes |

Fostercat:What could actually be the reason for that. Met a driver yesterday who complained about the same issue. According to him when he visited Greenlight hub he was told that the company handling cancellations for Uber which is a third party is currently experiencing downtime. I suggest you go back Monday |

0taPiaPia: The point that she is trying to make is that a lot of these drivers on nairaland, well I wouldn't say a lot so that no driver will come for my head.. So these few drivers are distorted and are trying to change the narrative to benefit themselves.. They are so distorted they want the cars to be given to them almost practically free on rental or say maybe be 5k a week on rental ..few of them are very disillusioned to the fact that things don't work that way. If uber is cast they should find another job. Driving on uber or ehailing is not a do or die affair. So meanwhile you can find serious drivers ,not perfect but serious driver outside nairaland forum.. I found one ,family man never complains ,they only times he complains is if the car is given him issue.. Trust me he will call my team and complain at that time .anything else the guy drives and delivers.. So far he is good.. Me personally am ready to work with a driver and come to a compromise.. But most of the them are knuckle heads. They will take your kindness for weakness, and that is why a lot of them are jumping from one partner to another.. They will owe one partner money and leave. And than jump to another one. This is from experience, and because of that they have no form of stability in their life.. If you disagree with me you can fight back with your keyboard 1 Like |

*As a driver looking for a partner, Mind What you sign up for before carrying a car. Many cars being given to drivers nowadays are dead cars waiting for mortuary. I kid you not. If you carry a dead car by mistake and notice it within 2 days, go and drop it with car owner or fleet manager and run as fast as your legs can carry you! *With the unbearable traffic jam in Lagos now and taxify slashing prices, the least you can do now is between 28-30k... With the grace of God oo. Because should LASTMA or Police catch you defaulting while hustling, your whole week money is gone! I kid you not. Car owner does not send you! *With many drivers now on both platforms, the future of Uber and taxify in Nigeria is almost good as dead. Many graduates are now drivers. Failed businessmen are also turning to Uber. Problematic business issues have also turned so many people into drivers. Yours sincerely fall into this category. What this implies is that supply somehow outweighs demands. So drivers, use your sense and mind what you sign up for! 2 Likes |
