We just happen to have an overflowing pool of the best trained journalists in the continent who produce real world class content. BBC simply tapped into this glaring potential. Even Naija with their insane pop cant match our journalistic skills. BBC did open a similar bureau in Lagos recently but they decided it was only good enough for Nigerians (Igbo, Yoruba and pidgin) but for the Nairobi Studio they decided it had to be good enough for the planet, better than everywhere else.
