UPDATE: Can You Marry A Girl That Refused To Date You Years Ago? by Juliusdaughter: 10:06am On Dec 09, 2018 |
Thank you all for you inputs, unfortunately I couldn't modify my post since it got to FP. I was a 16 when I entered uni. 17 when guys were asking me out. I had some unrealistic measures then. Like not dating a guy from my school and not dating someone too older than I am. My ex was barely 4 years older than me while this other one was 8 years older. The age alone was enough to put off a 17 years old. I chose my ex cos he wasn't a student of my school and he was just a little older than me. Cheating is in DNA if I must say, if not I'd have dated my ex, this guy and even some more. It's not my fault he kept on asking me out while I was in a relationship. I didnt for once cheat on my ex. Neither did I have sex with someone else, as oppose what some people said. I broke up with my ex almost 8 months bfr this one asked me out again. I saw him as a frnd and someone I could trust. So I said YES. We started dating and less than two weeks he told me we might not be able to get married because of some family stuff from his side. I was ready to back off but he held on to me and we continued. So sad we were still in contact even few hours until his WEDDING yes! He got married yesterday, and he was actually using me to cheat on his wife. It wouldn't have mattered wether I said yes to him 3 or two years ago. He would have used me same way he just did. I don't think I deserve a man like that either. I am ready to move on past my ex and him too. Why would he deceive me into a relationship when he knows he's getting married? We were cool as frnds, I would have attended his wedding too... I have learned that some guys are not worth your faithfulness. In as much as you want to hold on to them, be open to other suitors too. He just destroyed a cool friendship been crying since I found out. 3 Likes |
