You may never be able to even travel. Because you're not sure what the aviation industry is going to strike about tomorrow.
You can't be sure that when you have a knife cut, that tetanus injection you're getting isn't expired.
You can't really tell when your children will graduate because ASUU strike. If they do in record time from a private university, how do you know traveling on bad roads won't kill them?

You may get cancer from all the GMO Europe is dumping in Nigeria because NAFDAC, SON and the lot are busy with 'work'.

Do you really want to know why we leave?
So our children can have better opportunities.
We don't want them to write JAMB and PUTME and be denied admission they can get on merit.
We want to know that 911 can take our emergencies serious.
And as citizens of the country we immigrated to, we want to know our votes count.
Is that too much to ask??

so there are no strikes and GMO abroad.

Most of what you wrote are just excuses.

YOu make it seems like nothing in nigeria works.

Many of them dont read the news

For labour shortage, the EU is looking at eastern europe not Africa

in US and Canada, they are looking at the western world and asia not Africa, canada are trying to make sure Nigerians dont come to their country.
https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2018/05/05/canada-desperate-to-stop-nigerians-from-coming-to-country/

when will africans especially Nigerians realized that every odd is against them.

you see their govt coming to Africa and sponsoring skill acquisitions training for many young people, they know what they are doing, they are preparing for the future, a future without Africans in it.
you mean Canada is trying to stop illegal immigrants from Nigeria, claiming asylum? how does that mean they are trying to stop Nigerians from migration ?. have you heard of Canadian express entry? Nigeria ranks second to china, among immigrants to Canada. i guess you should try it out. Nigerians are still migrating in droves

That is 2k a month less than 2k euros which is about the average salary of BSc holders in Western Europe plus or minus depending on the country. Bros I know there are guys on the street but also there are people from Nigeria doing better jobs with better pay.

But money aside, whether you make more or less you live with dignity and your life has value. Valued by the society and respected by the law. Some of you will be quick to shout what about racism well in every human society there are shit heads that will always hate people for no reason. In the same vane I think the worse form of discrimination is the one you face in your own country.

Nigerians suffer more discrimination in Nigeria than elsewhere. Nigerians that are not from the North can't even live peacefully there without being discriminate against or treated different likewise those from the North coming to the South. What form of discrimination is worst than that which you encounter in your own country? You are being treated differently by the rich, being treated differently by the politician and on top of that being treated differently by foreigners running their businesses in Nigeria. The law enforcement agency that were supposed to protect you treat you differently based on your language or how much you'v got.

Bros Nigeria sucks!
You are very right bro!

Martin Luther kings would be highly disappointed wherever his soul is today at the level discrimination by black men against their fellow blacks. It's worse than racial discrimination by the whites.

you are a liar.

To buy land in lekki in some area can cost almost from 300,000 to a million dollars. You cant do odd jobs or even corporate job abroad and have that type of money

A very big liar, people need to think before they post here, some are very ignorant Nigerians. I have looked at houses in that Lekki and they require a large amount money that a housekeeper in the us can not afford. Unlike here , back home does not really have mortgages and even if they do they’re loan duration is short compared to here. Even those earning six figures would not be able to afford it.

You are wrong , overtime is not necessary depending your wages and standard of living. I earn more than that guy , so overtime is not a NECESSAITY. Maybe for that guy it is. In life you want to work smarter, that’s why in the US , the Asians have way more finiancial success than us even though we are more educated.

This on the lower price end for lekki houses, 65 million Naira which equals to about $179,101.82. Now I wonder how long it would take someone earning between $10 - $15 per hour, is going to save that up and still pay all their monthly bills.

misdiagnosis is a world wide problem even gani was misdiagnosed in the US.

YOU can get good healthcare if you want in nigeria. Nigeria has its problems which is created by its eitizens. Systems are run by humans and these humans in nigeria will destroy the system and run abroad for refuge.

According to his thread, he started sometime in November but I don't think the op is being realistic with himself. He wants to save $120,000 by November 2020 and he earns about $16 per hour base pay.

Those are the lucky ones self that worked for a good company. For others, they still have to work even in their later years. For my generation and downwards, we better save up for ourself because pensions are few and scarce theses days. I do feel that people back home retire much earlier than here in the U.S.

What is the usefulness of a government when they can't provide the basic things of life to their citizens?

If you find answer to that, then you know why Nigerians believe in Abroad..

So comparing this sh!t hole nation to a nation that have it citizens at heart and provide a better environment for their citizen to develop.
