Don't sweat it. Fill your application, when it is time to attach supporting documents, you will find your personalized checklist. However, the mandatory document checklist is available on Canada.ca. cc: @mapleking DrMrsCK: 1 Like |

Good evening house. I am new here. I love to ask questions on international passport. Please help! I am worried about the fact that my middle name appeared as my first name in my international passport, I want to write my IELTS exams and I saw that they asked that ones name should be written in order it appeared on the identification i. e international passport. All other documents of mine have my middle name come at the middle which is correct, only my International Passport has my middle name as my first name, and my first name written where my middle be should be. Please what do I do? Can an affidavit of one and same person cover me? I am thinking of writing my name it order it appears normally for my IELTS exams. Hope I won't be penalised for it? Again I am bothered about issues that may come up if I create my express entry profile with my name in it usual order instead of the way it is written on my passport. Please help me. I am so worried. I do not know what do to. Example: my name the usual way for instance: Ibiokun Adeshade Usman-Chindu International passport now reads: Adesade Ibiokun Usman-Chindu Apart from the fact that (Adeshade (middle name) was used as my first name in the international passport, the "h was also omitted so it was written as " Adesade. Please what do I do, all other documents bears Ibiokun Adeshade Usman-Chindu. (Note please, name is just an example here). Thank you. |

wasseynewest: It is the impulsive thing to do. Your supervisor knows more about what you do than a supposed HR that isnt even in your office. Especially if you work in a setting where your J.D is quite fluid, and this is why in many instances, it is a reference from a supervisor that is asked for. Even here in Canada. However, like you rightly pointed out, the devil is in the details. People go on to falsely assume that this should mean a supervisor could always issue this reference on the company's letter head, without first checking what their firm's policies on this is. For those who work in smaller firms, they dont need to be bothered about this. 5 Likes |

Guest turned new member here... I have been distant from the thread for a while now due to other life matters, but I felt this strange urge tonight to just encourage someone that might be overburdened with worries over IELTS. And no, mine is not close to worst you might have read about. I wrote IELTS three times. Once with MOD and twice with BC. As with may, writing was the thorn in my not-so-thick flesh...and trust me when I say I never esperridit. I know I'm not such a great writer, but hey, not so bad either to fail an English proficiency exam. On my first attempt I felt terrible. I didn't cry, I wept! Second attempt- I was quite optimistic about this one. As expected, I focused more on the writing and lesser on reading and listening, because I considered those my strong points. My speaking was quite interesting, felt like I was gisting with a friend. O the fateful Friday that happened to be the day of reckoning, I woke up, confidently picked my phone and checked with result, I was slammed another 6.5!! This time around I could not cry, I was angry, very livid!! I did not waste time with processing a remark. I submitted and waited for about a month. After so much drama between IDP MOD and I, my result returned unchanged. This time, it was my money that was hurting my chwest! My almost 50k remark money went just like that.!! My experience with this attempt made me have a bias for MOD. This is not totally related to my result, but to the disorganization that surrounded the conducting of the exams. It was shameful. My third attempt came up after taking a break for three months. I felt I was too angry to write another and expect a fruitful result, so I took time to heal. I looked out for more tips on writing and I must say I saw tips and lessons that ranged from very useful to wee you keep kwaayet! God bless the souls that dropped materials here as well, if only people will take time to research the infamous page one, but no, a lot of people want to be spoon-fed (some cannot even open their mouths for spoon to enter, they want to be breast-fed). Sorry for diverting. While preparing for the third attempt I wrote more essays and had an experienced third party read and critique them. I also tried doing my tests as a whole with serious timing, so I'd start from listening to reading to writing. On my test date, I surprised myself. I got lost in my listening module. A whole session was guess work. It was a map. Immediately we finished that session, my mind went, "heee God! Shall I start looking for another 75k?". And to think a lot of theatrics surrounded my eventually being able to take that test, especially my speaking test. I was very disturbed. I thought I had faith but then I started doubting the fate sef. I was ready to register for another exam. The morning the result was released, I cannot even explain how I felt. I was in tears. I could not believe it. I had to send to all my siblings to confirm that that was my result. The feeling was just surreal. I'm so sorry for this long and boring post, but I hope someone gets encouraged not to give up and keep pressing. My story might not have been spectacular, but for a graduate of English Language, I ate the whole of the "humbility" pie that IELTS served me. I'd also lik to encourage us to visit that IELTS materials link on page 1, it houses a lot of materials, even paid videos. If you need to apply for some time off work, go on leave and prepare for the test. Never give up!! Whenever you feel like, just read the newspapers or listen to the news, you'd be irritated by a lot of things going on in here and be propelled to keep moving. May God help us all on this journey... 56 Likes 1 Share |

Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada step-wise ECA report procedure. The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) is designated by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada as of January 6, 2014 to provide Educational Credential Assessments (ECA) for Principal Applicants intending to apply under the “Express Entry for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Canadian Experience Class” for immigration to Canada and for whom Pharmacist would be the primary occupation for their application to immigrate to Canada. Please see the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for more information. Note: obtaining your PEBC ECA upon document evaluation is only the first step towards practicing in Canada. Afterwards, you will need to sit evaluating exams, qualifying exams and may be required to take practical training, internships and jurisprudence examination. Since August 20, 2014 the following have been the steps- A. Register with National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) through Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada and receive a National Identifier Number before applying to PEBC for Document Evaluation (CAD 330). B. Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) Document Evaluation ($650). You must apply online. Click here for the online application You will need to submit the following to be considered for Document Evaluation: 1. Document Evaluation printed application form 2. Full fee (see Schedule of Fees and Fee Instructions) 3. Documents to support identity Valid (unexpired) Passport; Birth Certificate; or Canadian Citizenship Card Marriage Certificate or Change of Name Certificate (if necessary); or Statutory Declaration + supporting documents 4. Documents to support graduation and licensing University Degree Certificate (you can enclose a certified true copy of your BPharm degree with your completed form) Transcript (your University should send this directly) Licensing Statement (for all countries where you were previously registered or currently registered to practice. In Nigeria, you can apply in writing to the Pharmacists' Council of Nigeria for a letter of good standing and pay a few of N30,000 via remita. PCN sends your licensing statement via regular post, but you can request for a courier and pay separately for that). C. In addition to applying for Document Evaluation, applicants under the “Express Entry for FSWP and Canadian Experience Class” must complete the Request Form for an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Report. It is advised that you complete, print and sign the ECA request form and send it along with you application and identification documents to PEBC. by doing this you are saving yourself time and cost ($100 extra when you apply separately) D. Downloaded application forms should be electronically filled, not handwritten, below is a guidance as to who qualifies to be your withness (there are a couple of areas in your application and ECA request form where a witness will sign). You will need to find one of the following acceptable witnesses: Notary Public Commissioner for Oaths Lawyer Additional documents or information may be requested in support of the application. Incorrectly submitted documents will delay the evaluation of your qualification. Your completed application and identification document should be couriered to PEBC carrying your PEBC reference number. PEBC primarily communicates via email, however the evaluation outcome and ECA report will be sent via regular Canada post. So many people have used a Canada address to avoid mailing delays. E. Upon confirmation of receipt of your application which you will send directly, your University-sent transcript and Pharmacy Council-sent licensing statement, the PEBC will mail you. Then you will be asked to wait 8weeks for you evaluation to be completed. Due to high volume of documents being processed at PEBC you may need to send reminder mail at the end of the stated 8weeks period. F. Your evaluated document and ECA report (which is require for express entry) will be mailed through Canada post at the end of the evaluation. I hope you find this information useful. Do not hesitate to reach out if your require help navigating your ECA process. Regards, Pfarmola 14 Likes 3 Shares |

adeyemi112: If you are in Lagos, visit the hospital one morning, ask if there are people that have not showed up or have cancelled, you can be lucky t get a slot, if not that day, the next. I know two people this has worked for. Same worked for me at Children's Practice months back. I believe this is simpler for individual applicants, especially if you can spare time for it. It is such a pity that people do not cancel their appointments when they do not need them again. Plus I personally feel like if this is not working ad you can spare some bucks for IOM, just do it and let your application fly. 1 Like 1 Share |
