vecman22:You called Jonathan a "drunkard"! You literally don't know why you father was smashed by a trailer in a gutter, neither do you why you can't reason like reasonable human. It's all naira land's fault, for letting wild idiotic dogs like you come here to spit thrash. 1 Like |

ericsmith:We can trade insults all day over this, but we should be magnanimous enough to self-moderate and cultivate self-restraint even when issues appear burning and our heads on the brink of exploding! Let me just point out that the fact that a torn cloth is repackaged and placed in a fancy bag does not change the fact that it's a torn piece of cloth. We all see what we want to see. You see a saint in Buhari, I see a wolf in sheep's clothing...diverse opinions...allowed. Lastly, respect for ourselves guide our morals; respect for others guide our manners! 2 Likes |

So Kachikwu is saying that so far, this administration has been utterly useless as far as the refineries are concerned. But at least they should be congratulated for not wasting any money. If this is the standard of performance expected of government, then Nigeria remains well on its way to the abyss. 2 Likes |

backnbeta: i see a saint in buhari & you see a messiah in atiku ...if you think thats what the conversation is all about ,dear u're grossly mistaken. i cannt & hold no position to ask people not to share diverse opinions .... but fake news, propaganda & deliberate mis interpretation as becum a daily thing on social media .. for instance kachikwu was talking of refineries n investors but you applied gimmick twisting things to justify atiku intention to sell nnpc @ well negotiated price as if you stand a share. politics asides ,it wonnt be hard to show you respect when you reason far away from sentiments & grieveness ... however nice meeting you gurl. |

vecman22:you are just a foolish zombie, Johnathan administration awarded the refineries complete overhaul contract to the parent companies that built them, that contract n the complete revamping of the refineries was well on course to be completed around August of 2015 but immediately Apc/buhari took over the contract was cancelled n termed avenues of corruption, fews weeks after the Apc claimed they refineries has been refurbished using local capacity with much fanfare only for the refineries to break down shortly after n up to this moment,go back n check the uterances of kachikwu he had been bragging about bringing the refineries back to life now that their folly has come to stare them in the face they are singing a different tune, gej tried to end subsidy your type sabotage it buhari who claimed not to know what subsidy is said he ended it almost doubling the fuel price n worst of all has continued to pay the same subsidy illegally under a false name of under recovery riding with brazen corruption yet you people keep praising him,I wonder how buhari has succeeded in hypnotising your lot n making you unopinionated zombies, Atiku has suggested a brilliant idea to avoid a likely loss n wastage but hatred n zombiesm will not let your type see reason until the refineries suffers the same fate as nitel when dangote petrochemicals finally comes on stream then your type will begin to look for scapegoat to blame, instead of this blind praise singing just ask kachikwu why hasn't buhari brought back the refineries to life after almost four years in power or is it not the same buhari we we're told was an expert in the oil sector during the campaigns n who is now the substantive minister of petroleum resources? 1 Like |

Re: Buhari’s Government Hasn’t Spent A Penny On Refineries – Kachikwu by ezkimow(m): 1:27am On Dec 16, 2018 |
Gbemishile1: Bro if we tell ourselves the truth, pdp might have looted money oh,agreed, but to say they did nothing for 16 years is a lie. Ppl are complaining because with APC at the helm of affairs the Nigerian economy has been taking a nose dive . Ask your self this When we were dwelling in 'corruption', more ppl had jobs than now that there is no corruption - does it make any sense. Is not expected that with the fight against corruption, our living conditions should have improved? One thing I know for sure is that there is no way a govt. will be making good economic policies that jobs will be lost. More companies have shut down in the 4 years of BuBu's reign as compared to pdp's 16 years. Go to a state like Jigawa, I'm telling you this with authority, what ever level of development you see in that state was from the previous 16 yrs . Pdp are definitely not saints, but they were able to at least not take away the common man's daily bread - APC has made life unbearable for Nigerians, that's why they had to be dashing money to some ppl...... *security? *transparency and honesty? *employment? *Power? *economy? Which of these are you satisfied with in this current administration? |

Nigeria will go belly-up if subsidy is removed without ensuring that local refining capacity can meet at least 80% of demand. |
