For jobs, it depends on your city of residence.

If you could learn the language before coming, better. If you can't, you could enrol in language courses in your school upon arrival. At this stage, I don't even know Jack in German. Lol

Your wife and kids could join you after your arrival. It's usually better that you come alone. Afterwards, they could apply for a reunion visa.

1;Is it possible getting a job at any of the regions without proper understanding of the german language.

2; Are you working presently?how did you get that without the language knowledge?

Hello everyone. Please I need your advise. Is it still adviceable i continue with my application for summer, 2019. The deadline for applications in the 2 schools I'm applying to is Jan 15. And the 2 schools won't start processing the applications before then because both offer restricted admission. My worry now is if i gain admission after January 15 will I be able to get an early date for visa appointment and have enough time do other necessary things before enrolment date in March.

Many will even apply next year for different schools. You're still early. Only have your funding or SL ready. There is always a way where there is none with good preparation and guidance.

Hey Chief, thank you for your response.
Please I’m thinking of learning German on my own here in Nigeria as I did for French.. However, my fear is that when I get to Germany, will I need to show any proof in terms of certification or proficiency before I can get the job or merely speaking it to them is fine??

If yes, I’ll need a certificate, should I get it done here in Nigeria (Goethe-Institut) or when I get to Germany??

If in Nigeria, which minimum grade is best to attain (A1, B2 etc) so I can prepare for the exam proper. Please be mindful of the cost, abegg!

Finally, any idea on Goethe institute, can I just pay for the exams without attending the class??

Please anyone with info is also highly welcome.

Thank you Guys and God bless you greatly for your great help!!!

Hi guys!
So i don't want to say that I've been scammed because the day isn't over, however i got in touch with the individual whose post I'm quoting after he responded to my post asking for someone to help me with the appointment booking.
We exchanged a few emails and finally agreed that I'll make half the payment and the other half upon confirmation, got his contact and account information, made payment today, sent him an email informing him that the payment had been made, i called the number but didn't get a response, now its no longer reachable.

We constantly complain about not being trusted by outsiders but don't make any effort to be different, i honestly hope that I'm wrong about my assumptions. However, if its truly the case of being scammed, i hope the fee solves all your problems,we learn everyday.

May the universe repay you as it sees fit.

Have you settled this issue with the guy?

Hello People, God bless everyone for their contribution, Please am in a little dilemma I would like to know if I can book an interview with uni-assist preliminary evaluation letter I received on 26/11/18. My application has been sent to the University of Potsdam for final decisions. It was stated in the letter I can apply for a student applicant visa, would like to know if that is valid for Nigeria, Thank you.

You can use student copy

Thank you!! This reply could do a lot.

So Unilag gave us “student profile” which include courses and grades with GPs and CGPAs at final year. But it also contains:
Personal details: Name age, DoB etc
Financial History and
Watermark saying: “Not to be taken as an official result”

Please can I take this also as a student copy or not

Please I need the experienced one's to explained the attached photo for me. From my own understanding, do they mean winter application start from 1 June and ends 15 July? Which I consider too short.

Thanks
