i'm from edo and witnessed lucky igbinedion 8 year tenure and oshomole's,truth is no one is perfect but with the manner oshiomole governed edo state judging by what he met it would be very ok for me to say oshio was near perfect ,i never knew what a walk way was till he came to power,no doubt this water storm project is a massive failure but oshiomole eight year tenure was a dream come true to any goodloving edo man,he brought style to leadership.dont be deceived by what this haters talk online,i was born and brought up in edo and i know whatsup.

I had my uni education in Benin and can attest to his many laudable strides, especially in roads. Compared to the 8 years rot of PDP, though not a saint, but in all fairness, the man tried.

May God punish you for what you have just said. How dare you speak ill of Bini? Oshiomhole only came to enrich himself as governor,he did practically nothing when compared to some other states with even little resources. Here is a Governor who started to build just a section of a central hospital in Benin city since 2012,till today the hospital is still not completed. Talk about the storm water project,it was a drain pipe just to steal money,how can you claim to have spent 30Billion for a project and the project has no headway. Oshiomhole is a fraud and he will surely have his day with the EFCC someday.

Then you must be very young. Go ask of Samuel Ogbemudia as military governor of Bendel state. His vision is still unmatched by many governors ij Nigeria till today.
Osho did not even come close to matching Ogbemudia's mastetplan.

Even after 45 years roughly. Only Fashola might be compared. But Fashola had the benefit of democratic system, jet age and global Village to help visualise things. Ogbemudia operated during analogue age hence very impressive.

I LIVE IN BENIN/UROMI/UBIAJA & ALL ROADS IN EDO STATE LACKS DRAINAGE AND FLOOD DESTROYS THOSE ROADS EVERYTIME.

This project was a major project during his tenure, now see how it has collapsed. He spent huge resources and collected loan because of this project, yet it didnt even last up to one tenure after his own, only to divert the money to fund the his so called University. Does this not tell you how deceptive the guy was? Then I was always saying he was deceiving us but people would point at his work, some of which he wasn't the one doing the projects. I agree Igbenedion was terrible and that's why many of you see Oshiomhole as a good man but with time you all will know the truth.
