Run after thieves at ur own peril or continue to stay in shop to ur own woes of thieves second coming. This is to tell us that both are bad choices just as pdp and apc are bad choices for nigeria, but I will yet stick to pdp as a fairer choice. |

Do we have a sitting governor in Borno State? Do we have house of assembly members holding sitting? Is Borno State still collecting allocation? Are their people still living and doing business in Borno State? Are revenues being generated still? Is Borno still under attack by boko Haram? Is security agency still fighting the insurgents in Borno State? |

in a logical way Obi is right so is banjo but in reality Banjo is wrong rather than close the store and start chasing the thieves why not report them to the appropriate agency and go back to continue doing business in your store coz u may lost your business while you are busy chasing those thieves but if u let the appropriate agency do their jobs you may be wowed at how much business you will make 1 Like |

chiedozie198100: 1. They have sent hundreds of people to jail for corruption without closing The shop. 2. They sent 2 APC governors to jail without closing the shop. 3. Kalu is on trial and the shop is not closed. 4. Fayose is on trial and the shop is still not closed 4. Metuh is on trial and the shop is still not closed 5. Several corrupt judges are on rial and the shop is still not closed. The idea that we should not focused on and jail crooked and corrupt people is the usual PDP's alternative crooked and corrupt realities. Obigotry and his PDP looting and stealing friends should know by know that such rhetoric and corrupt narratives will not stop or prevent us from jailing his crooked and corrupt looting and stealing gang. Our shop is open and never closed and will keep sending looters to jail. Obigotrys comment remindse of GEJs stealing is nor corruption comment. These are the crooked and corrupt areas the PDP shines the most. 3 Likes |

possibilita: You said the FG should report corrupt people to the appropriate agencies and and go back to doing business. Question. Is the VP, the presidency prosecuting and jailing looters or the EFCC? Was it he president that jailes 2 APC governors or the EFC ? Was the shop closed during investigation, during prosecution and sentencing? Is their any sense in the rubbish you people keep spewing? There is zero basis for the corrupt, the absurd and elementary thinking sentiments you people keep coming up with. It is really disheartening reading corrupt sentiments and excuses these Nigerian youths are making on behalf of looters. Very sad. |

There is something fundamentally wrong in the assumptions of both Peter Obi and Osinbajo, that being the "ownership" of the shop. Please and please, they don't own the shops as there are mere tenured servants given the shop to manage for their boss (Nigerians). Once we have come to terms with that, we now take a look at what Christ had to say about tenured servants. We can find this in the "Parable of the 10 talents" where a master going on a journey, gave his servants some money to trade with on his behalf. while others traded and made profits for their master (and was duly commended for it) one of them went and hid the money in the sand (closed shop) to prevent the money from being stolen since his master was an unforgiving type. A pastor in PYO should know this very well and should have done countless sermons with this passage. PYO's assumptions beats me but when I really reason it, it is not really his fault. Like i once made a quotable quote on this forum, "You can't give what you don't have". Lastly, why are Yoruba people arguing business acumen with Igbo's on this forum? both tribes have shown over the years who know business and who don't. A good example is the motely list of the now defunct multinationals given to the Yoruba to run down after the war. 2 Likes |

Please explain to us why saraki and co sis not pay months of salary payments to their workers? Was is prudent and responsible management that led to that poor episode and denial or salaries to poor hard-working Nigerians. So you mind what the leaders like saraki are doing to arrest and punish the people involved because we know the workers salaries are already part of their house budget? No, because Mr Juicy position is part of the house looting and stealing gang. |

PETER OBI'S SHOP OWNER ALLEGORY IS AS CLEAR AS THE NORTHERN STARS Just this 2018, the dreaded Michael Adikwu and his notorious armed-robbery gang went on rampage, robbing some new generation banks in Offa, Kwara State. And I ask: DID THE BANKS SHUTDOWN BANKING BUSINESSES, ET AL, BECAUSE THEY MUST GET ADIKWU AND HIS GANG, AND BRING THEM TO BOOK? HELL NO! Peter Obi's statement that the Rudderless and Clueless Buhari/Osinbajo government Shutdown Government Businesses and Nigeria's Economy for over four years, chasing alleged criminals, is not an ECONOMIC POLICY, is as BRIGHT as the Northern Stars. Obi was indeed right. No shrewd shop owner shutsdown just to chase criminals who came to rob his shop. While his businesses go on, there are security agencies on whose shoulders it falls to chase the criminals and bring them to book. That is what was expected of the Buhari-Osinbajo government in 2015. They should have allowed the anti-corruption and security agencies absolute independence to perform their lawful duties. But Hell No! all opposition to their misgovernance MUST BE CRUSHED. These random musings of no economic blueprint sent shocks and shivers into the spines of existing and potential local and foreign investors. They eloped with their Foreign Direct Investments, fearing for their dear lives and finances. This brought us to the 1.81% GDP growth we are recording today. A country which was hitherto doing 6-7% GDP growth in 2014/2015? Take it or leave it, inspite of the few mere statistical discrepancies, Peter Obi, indeed, gave Yemi Osinbajo a BLOODY NOSE, at that Vice Presidential Debate. If it is a lie, put a call through to Osinbajo and ask him how DISGRACED and HUMILIATED he felt. If you don't have his phone number, I will immediately send it across to you like the Blessings Isaac gave to Jacob after serving him that delicious meal, those hey days. #Salute 4 Likes |

Obi was right on this analogy while Osinbajo was very wrong. In fact, I'm disappointed that Osinbajo said shops should be closed to chase after thief. He is too learned to say that. Though most people will not second this but check me out here: Will a parent starve his children because they want to save and build their own house so as to stop paying house rent? Will residents in a street not find a way to channel water away from their street (if threatened by flood) instead of waiting for the government to build their road? If you are sitting down with your luggage at the airport and someone rushed and pick one and run off, will you not secure the remaining before you start chasing after the person. Lastly, why didn't Nigeria Movie Industry close shop in other to chase after thiefs? (Pirates)? This is jet age guys one need to keep up with things, take good measures to manage risks and unfortunately 78 or 90 years old man in Aso Rock can't do that. Truth is this, Peter Obi said that analogy from the standpoint of an economist and a seasoned manager. Most of you may not know that this is actually a away to manage risks. Ask those who know a little about rist management. I will also like to disclose that am not in support of either APC or PDP. This analogy is reality. Theif came to your house and stole, first thing you need to do is to study how they did it, put measures so that it wont happen again and then chase after them and make sure they pay dearly. Not closing your shop and chasing after them. All other thing will become halted. That is a lame way to manage risk. In case you don't understand anything above, let me explain in a lay man's term: Imagine Nigeria as a giant company owned by an individual or group of individuals, are you saying the company should shut its doors because thief looted their goods or resources? thats lame guys, because they will loose all their customers, goods and more and more resources. this is what is happening in Nigeria today. 3 Likes |

possibilita: It is of course ignorant to conclude that all their focus is on corruption because all the government agencies are doing their job and carrying out their constitutional obligations. EFCC is not Aso Rock and If the EFCC is focusing their attention on looters, then more power to them, it means they are doing their job, it means they are doing what we are paying them to do. Your corrupt sentiments are misguided and out of focus. There's something in government called separation of powers. The presidency is not the judiciary and definitely not the legislature. Stop peddling corrupt narratives on behalf of corrupt people who are trying to get away after stealing your money. |

Afamed:Bros, even though Peter obi didn't give any futuristic and combative measures in curbing corruption, I still doubt the illustration Osibanjo gave. Check out the negative implication of shutting down an entire economy all because of fighting corruption. Thieves are abound everywhere, You definitely can't closed down your shop just to pursue them. CHECK THIS OUT; PDP rented a shop for 16yrs, opened the shop to the public 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. Inventories were stolen on a daily basis, the same inventories were replenished once stolen and sales kept booming but never did anything to catch the criminals. While, APC took over that same shop, locked the shop for three and half years ago and still counting, start chasing after criminals while the sales people lives in abject poverty. But they got some criminals, collected the little left from what they stole from PDP and let them go and the little they got was not used to replenished the shop, so the shop is still locked, up to this moment. So so sad that the shop will not be opened until they catch all the criminals, but not remembering that they have sales people that needs to be fed. 3 Likes |

you see the way these airhead ipod people behave ehn, it is only God that can save them from their foolis.h sentimental and emotional senselessness. They will support anything stupid so long as it's from their ipod brothers. I have watched how all of them both the ones who claimed to be educated and the irredeemably cursed ones have been supporting their gay, gibberish talking adaobi on the stupid statement he made and trying so hard to add up and make excuses for him. A thief continues to steal from you and you continue to open shop and not chase the thief. Shebi it was because of the thief you opened the shop. The thief will kuku just relax and wait for you to make enough money and then come and collect everything plus the little products you have left until they steal you out of business. And please do not talk rubbish about how you continue to open your shop and look for a way to stop the thief. Yes Buhari should fight corruption and not ignore the economy. The useless analogy of thief and closing shop doesn't work with Nigeria. Of course we all know the economy has never been shot down. If the economy was shot down, most of ya'll miserable MF making noise would have died of hunger by now. The economy is shot down but you have hard working people cashing out, building houses and making progress. You lazy ipod MF who are used to cutting corners have to blame your failure on the government. Even if atiku wins in 2019, ya'll will still blame him for your failure in life. Go and there and work hard and stop talking trash about thief and shop. If armed robbers dey enter yaba steady they steal clothes and money, you think say your brothers go open shop dey wait for armed robber? nonsense. If una see thief una go wait? |

Afamed:That would not be possible, you are just trying to justify osibanjo's position by warped logic,if you stay in the shop ,watch over it properly n take effective measures it can't be looted daily, all businesses face risks, the ability to overcome n neutralize the risks n remain profitably functional is the Hallmark of managerial acumen.obi was very right but you are free to go n try osibanjo's method, I'm certain you are going to get the Apc result. 1 Like |
