TONY56: I saw that post and had to laugh. I have been banking with Stabic since when it was Chartered Bank. From Chartered Bank, it became CharteredIBTC and now StanbicIBTC. I get a call from them once in a while to ask me about my experience using them espercially their eChannels. 1 Like |

Gurus in the house, please i need your input in this : I have Tbill that will mature 14th February 2019,which I will re invest. I intend to do 3.3M for 364days for at least 14%., but due to some unexpected expenditures, I will have only 2.9M to invest. My Questions is : Should I write 3.3M in the Tbill primary market form(even though I have 2.9M in the account) Knowing fully well that the 2.9M covers the discount value? I know this is not applicable to Firstbank. I am asking as regards stanbic ibtc since Stanbic usually debit discount value in Tbill. NB Face value = 3.3M Discount value = 2.838M Assuming rate = 14% Tenor =364 days Thanks |

How do you people deal with stanbic online, I’ve tried to message them on twitter for weeks now yet no response. That’s a red flag for me. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by chukzyfcbb: 7:57pm On Dec 17, 2018 |
Could we have a 16-17% rate coming months down the line? With Foreign investors outflow going steady, and a depleting Forex Reserves. Its crystal clear that Emefiele will want to defend the naira at all cost (Political campaign tool ) so that should mean Higher rates coming soon. Who else is seeing what I am seeing , abi am I seeing wrong? |

You see well. To add to this ; the 2019 budget is warming up, the 36 states are inflating their budgets, these budgets will require funding too so within the next few months we can say 18-19 percent is certain. chukzyfcbb: 3 Likes |

Agbaletu: We did 18.% last year What I do is that I wait for only higher rates before I buy. While waiting, na to dey double the hustle, once it clicks very high % I buy and goan sleep. Tbills is only enjoyed at high rates and huge capital Any other thing na savings account that u can't withdraw from easily Not to discourage anyone ooooo, u can start small too Bless up! 6 Likes 1 Share |
