@POLITICSNGR

National assembly workers have resumed their strike action on Monday morning, this time threatening to cut-off power and have already blocked all entrances into the chambers.

PoliticsNGR gathered that Staff members of the National Assembly made a new demand for a better welfare package with a four-day warning strike which began with the protest this morning.

The decision to renew their protest was taken on Friday, in a meeting called for under the platform of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN), where the body issued a 4-day warning strike notice to commence on Monday, Dec. 17.

Mr Bature Mohammed, the Chairman of the association, in a statement in Abuja on Saturday, said this decision was reached in an emergency congress held on Dec. 14.

Saraki and Dogara are thieves and criminals.

Since 2015, the NASS has had over N350bn from our common patrimony via budgetary allocation but they have refused to pay the workers at the NASS.

And this is the thief wanting to make Nigeria work again by aligning with a fellow thief in Atiku?

God forbid backwardness for us in Nigeria.

Na Next Level we dey go.

Some buffoons from a particular region of flat headed people will still blame President Buhari for this.

Modified...

One buffoon has been spotted above.

Note: Another word for President Buhari is dullard(inho), if you don't believe type dullard(inho) without placing inho in bracket in the comment section and see it change to "President Buhari".

I typed dullard(inho) above and Nairaland change it to President Buhari.

Saraki is looting the NASS to campaign for Atiku

Saraki is more of a do or die player than Atiku knowing fully well that his political carrier will be buried once His Excellence, President Mohammadu Buhari (GCFR) is declared winner of the 2019 election

My own concern is just that PDP needs to start sharing their loots if they want to be runners up.

of all the huge allocations, budget padding, bribes they collect and constituency project money they loot - yet Saraki and Dongara will not pay their workers. This is heartlessly wicked.

My people please find a side hustle as politicians don't give a flying fork or spoon about your black backside till it's election time!!!

If they give me offer, I go chop from both sides and still choose my preferred choice. Na Olympic something

National Assembly staff are like the usual Civil Servants you see in every ministry. The executive pays their salaries and not Saraki or Dogara

So....

What moral grounds do the crooked duo of Sarakiri and Dogara have to talk about the plight of Nigerian workers if they embezzled so much they can't even pay these low level staff?

Why is their chief patron Atiku not offering pithy statements in support of the clearly downtrodden NASS workers?

If Atiku is generous enough as he plays to the gallery, he ought to chip in from his bottomless swag bag and offset the salary arrears of the poor workers.
