It's only those phones with no global version produced officially that mostly have the "Shop ROM" issue.

Once you confirm a phone has a global version produced officially from the company, if it's been sold on Jumia, be 98% rest assured that you are getting the original version

You may be right... But there was a time around October when I was researching so hard on this same Redmi 6 pro so I can buy. I saw one on Jumia and when I viewed the description, it says and I quote "Not Support OTA Update" .... The same English Chinese sellers on Aliexpress used

The description sef na copy and paste from Aliexpress because everything was just "Jampacked" together with no editing at all; even to the pictures.

Bottom line is; DON'T BUY A REDMI 6 PRO OR MI 6X FROM JUMIA if you don't want stories that touch later... You are safe with other Xiaomi products being sold there
