at 8:30am yesterday i got debitted for tbills 363 days..

at 1:30pm i got credited my full sum again..

at 2:06pm i got debitted again for tbills 360 days..

i was so confused, i just had to wait and see what if there will be any change again.

so i checked my email this morning and saw a mail from: "your treasury bills has been cancelled as per your request"
nothing else.

first of all, i told the guy to get me the longest available offer. So i dont know why he would cancel a 363 for 360

secondly, so these guys can just decide and cancel my tbills WITHOUT my consent? Thats maddening!

thirdly, they dont send mail for creating your tbills but they send mail for cancellation, really?

finally, now i have no idea of the rates.. Will check my bal. @12noon to see if the interest has drop; then i calculate rate..

@ALL... i think its time we remove FIRST BANK from the list of highly recommended banks on this forum.

StanbicIBTC should be the only recommended bank for tbills for now.

Zenith bank too. I think Zenith offers better rate than stanbic

I walked into firstbank this morning to move funds to Zenith the manager showed up and asked why I was moving and I told him their bank isn't selling tbills. immediately he ordered them to do so and alas they they gave me 14% for 352 days. I think they know what they are doing.
