Nelly lied about his age but we knew he was lying because there are birth records.

In Nigeria, there are no birth records so people are more likely to get away with it.

That doesn't mean everyone is lying about their age and you shouldn't accuse people without that birth certificate. That is almost like profiling

My point which you fail to grasp because of this prejudice you now wear as a jersey is simple. Other Leagues are allowed to hype their players as much as they want. Its simple marketing

I remember how my 2016 was sour because British Skysports wouldn't let me hear anything except How graceful Vardy is, how is keen sense of placement is (in their words) just-just-just out of this world
Surely I remember Poccetino (I doubt I spelt that well) wanted the world to believe Dele Alli was the next best thing discovered since pizza

Get a grip, this entitlement to your opinion is beginning to infringe on our entitlement to hear shound discourse

You made a proposition based on comparative substantiation.

Now you are TOTALLY backtracking without shame.

Back to the question which media outlet stated that Dele Alli and Vardy, past or present said, " They are the most sought after teenager in the World" ❓ You used that comparison to underpin your position.

But if course you cannot. So now you are backtracking.

I don't just give an opinion on emotive preference but with some degree of rational. That not withstanding you don't necessarily have to agree with it.

i read in article about top us celebrities who lied about their age. Some shed more than 4 years
The truth is I don't know the link cuz I read with opera news. You can google it

People in showbiz lie about thier age all the time, on talk shows, on Facebook, informal settings, etc it's not a criminal offence.

However, they cannot under any circumstances change thier dob and or passport to thier desired and self created date of birth. These facts can not be changed.

When in a formalised settings where official corroboration is required they can not LIE. It's just too easily verifiable or it becomes fraud and criminal.

No matter how much hate he gets a player I will always love is Kelechi Iheanacho. Now some of us are even claiming that he is of retirement age and should not go to the AFCON just because of a drought. But I guarantee that this will not last long and those words will be eaten. Every striker not named Messi or Ronaldo should be entitled to a drought in peace.

This is the exact type of mentality our players have. This "I cannot kill myself" kind of mentality. And that's what's ruining them. While thier counterparts from the rest of the world work thier socks off and push themselves through sweat and blood to the very highest peaks of football, our boys are content with getting a bench role at a backwater team in Europe, managing to score a few goals and then rushing off to China and Arabia the first chance they get. And what do we the fans do? We applaud thier meager achievements and encourage them to remain perennial underachievers!.

And that's why we are where we are today.

I believe in demanding the best from our players. AT ALL TIMES. If a player does badly, I wield the big stick. If he does well, I commend him while reminding him that there's still more he can achieve. Only by doing so can we really be true fans!.

I wouldn't call it profiling.

Nigerian politics is extremely crazily corrupt does that mean there are no politicians who are clean ❓ there may be, but the likelihood is very very slim.

Are all policeman corrupt in Nigeria

Age falsification has been intrinsic in Nigerian football for over 40 years. It didn't start today, it's simply how the business of football is practiced in Nigeria.

No where is official corroboration anchored on personal integrity. It simply fails and is abused.

Believe me even in Europe they believe that African players are lying about their ages. But if they have official corroboration even when Questionable it will be accepted.

We are products of our environment.

We worship the gods of money and we do anything to get it. Look at what people are prepared to do for money in Nigeria. Is there anything too low.

Football is simply a stepping stone to make money. Do they have true passion❓ Its open to never ending debate.

Up till now you have failed to defend your earlier position that athletes should represent the state of their origin regardless of where they are based. If you are truly with me in terms of brooding new talents you will agree that this is a problem as much as importing players from other states is a problem.i saw the tribal undertone in your first post and I have already said what I have to say.

Nigerian athletes repping other countries are not based in Nigeria, but in that country mostly. The other country contribute in a big way to their training, welfare prior to the competitions and subsequently.

Importing a player just for the NSF is purely for the purpose of gaining advantage in the medals table. It doesn’t say much as to how well the said state has fared in sports development

Your comprehension is your problem.

I brought Alli and Vardy into it to prove a point that each league are entitled to hype their players
Was it not on the British Sky sports that Vardy's "clinicality" was said to be on par with C. Rinaldo

Once again, come to grips with the FACT that Chukwueze is being celebrated or forever hold your peace!

Jealousy for what? Is Iheanacho as wealthy or successful as Kylian Mbappe or Lionel Messi or, to bring it closer home, Mikel Obi or Odion Ighalo?. Why should I choose to be jealous of Iheanacho who isn't even considered among the top players in the world?.

I don't know him in person, I've never met him before and i may never meet him till I die. So what will i gain from being jealous of someone whose success or otherwise will have no impact on my life and destiny?.

I'm just saying the truth the way I see it. No sugarcoating, no unnecessary hyping.
no one is asking you to hype him. Must you call him all manner of names? Which one be he dey open mouth for ground. That’s totally wrong. I’m sure you ain’t even finer than him in appearance.

Word bro.

Even with all the money between now and the WC, we will still bear witness to shambolic performance.

That was how they started throwing money to the Super Eagles with humongous sponsorship deals here and there but we all know how it panned out.

Truth is, you don't expect to change your football overnight when other countries have been growing for years and expect to be at par with them during major tourneys. You reap what you sow. If you didn't try to build your football from the grassroots and improve your league, na last you go still carry for world cup. If you like, organize all the friendly matches till thy kingdom come.
