When you leave Dar and visit the interiors and they speak Swahili to you doesn't mean they don't speak their local language. You actually said that no American video featured in the top 5. Maroon 5 was number 3.

And there's a couple more American videos. Overall, I wouldn't use one year to judge. American music is still dominant, and the reason it wasn't dominant is because other countries, especially Puerto Rico are putting in extra work, not because American music is becoming obsolete.
